Our Story
Located at Chinatown, People's Park (珍珠百货商场）more than 30 years ago, Ocean Cosmetics is one of the most prominent brand name in the area.
When Uncle was a young man, he wanted to start his own business. He tried to sell many different things and one day, he succeeded in creating a unique type of shop in Singapore to sell beauty, personal care and home care products at a value-for-money prices for the average Singaporean like you and me.
Day after day, people would come to his shop to buy the best beauty products and toiletries. Ocean Cosmetics was a household name amongst the older generation of Singaporeans before the time of supermarket chains, beauty chains and the Internet.
Many years later, our shop still remains in the same building in People's Park, Chinatown. The family has grown old and our children have grown up. However, the philosophy of the family business and our little shop remains the same.
