Exploring the profound themes such as life, the passing of time, the desire and the divine, Daydream Console features a horse body, reminiscent of an altar, prompting viewers to contemplate its symbolic significance. The shadow of the animal represents the constant movement forward, embodying the idea of progress and advancement whilst the apple signifies the desire and the impetus to pursue aspirations. In addition, the daisy symbolises an offering, and the melting and motion of the vase suggests a transient state in life.

Delving into the intersections of these themes, Daydream Console (2024) will on view at Cuturi Gallery from 27 April - 22 June 2024.

[New Exhibition] Cuturi Gallery is thrilled to present our long-awaited exhibition, Daydream by French artist-designer, Hubert Le Gall. Featuring a selection of works, including pieces created exclusively for Singapore, Le Gall’s timeless pieces challenge conventional functional boundaries, existing as “in-between objects” that straddle the line between sculpture and design.

Spanning across 2 floors, with all 6 rooms having its own theme, Daydream immerses the viewers in each piece, providing a great platform to create a dialogue between what is considered as art or craft.

Presented in collaboration with and supported by , Daydream will be on view at Cuturi Gallery from 27 April till 22 June 2024. Join us on SATURDAY 27 April from 4 to 7pm to discover the exhibition and meet the artist himself !
