Jonathan joined us on 19 Oct 2008, right after completion of NS and is currently the 3rd longest serving member of our work fam ⏰

Here are some of Jon’s significant moments in pictures

From attending his first GELAC convention in Barcelona in 2016, to his promotion to Manager at n 2018, Jon is part of our OG G5 - the 5 members of Planners Inc that made the move to our Westgate office in 2016, and is a most loyal friend and comrade. 🤗

GELAC London 2019 was also memorable for we all had great fun mimicking Peaky Blinders at the convention gala dinner and traveled together to Edinburgh in what was then our largest PLinc GELAC contingent 🎭

2021 saw Jon promoting to Associate Director, qualifying for his his first MDRT, and bringing his direct team qualifiers .junhong and .weisheng to attend his MDRT global conference, in Sydney. 🌎

In 2022, Jon finished 2nd in our alliance TCG under the direct team category with both Weisheng and Junhong qualifying for MDRT again. He also ran our 21st Summer Associate Program as internship director for the 1st time. 🙇🏻‍♂️

20 years! In 1 company!

Our founder n director joined on 31 July 2003, 1 week before he matriculated in NUS, in the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, majoring in Geography & Sociology.

“The past 20 years have been a great adventure, ups and downs, trials and tribulations but it’s also been so fulfilling and enriching because of the relationships and memories forged, and have made us who we are today” said Terence, when asked to reflect on this major milestone.

2005’s Madrid GELAC convention incentive trip was incredibly indelible for Terence, a 2nd year undergraduate traveling alone for the first time, first time to Europe, 6 cities (Madrid, Malaga, Granada, Salamanca, Bilbao, Barcelona) in 19 days.

*Terence also qualified for MDRT & was promoted as part of the first batch of Associate Managers in GE in 2004 as a year 2 undergraduate

Today, the first Wednesday of October, is World Financial Planning Day!

We .sg adopt the global CFP professional certification as our professional standard. As Certified Financial Planners, Associate Wealth Planners and Associate Financial Planners, we apply the CFP framework in our advisory work with our clients.

Each year, the global financial planning profession will comes together for World Financial Planning Day to help raise awareness of the value of financial planning, having a financial plan, and working with a financial planner who has committed to standards of competency and ethics and putting clients’ interests first.

“Money can be a source of stress as many endure global economic uncertainty and are increasingly called upon to become more responsible for their finances in an ever-changing, complex world,” said FPSB CEO Dante De Gori, CFP. “The good news is financial planning can help.

“Many people are seeking financial education, understanding, guidance and support. Edinburgh 2019, post convention to Iceland and London

Keep calm and carry on.

Our 2019 convention throw back continues with our first full TCG Convention Day out.

We booked an open top London bus, toured the streets and sights and learnt many great things about London from the guide, stopped at Borough Market for lunch, went to the Coppa Club for desserts and all the way to the top of London, The View from The Shard for our celebratory champagne yam seng!

Not forgetting our group photo at St Paul’s cathedral and the scenic walk across the Millennium Bridge.

Covid disrupted our past 3 years trips, we couldn’t travel to New York, Moscow and Sapporo and the last time we got to party at our convention gala dinner was in London 2019! We even got best dressed then with our theme 😉

But because of the above, there are so many first time convention trip attendees and we can’t wait to play & create awesome memories with .weisheng .junhong not just at Zurich and Milan but our very own TCG convention day!
