[JT Tribute Donation Updates]

In honour of Jia Tian's legacy, we made a commitment last year to allocate 10% of all Rough Beauty's online proceeds, between 24 Nov 2023 to 31 Jan 2024, to the causes close to her heart.

We've since donated our proceeds to the Cat Welfare Society, Dementia Singapore, and Zero Waste Singapore.

Reminiscent of Jia Tian’s love for cats and nature, this post features the art works that were hand painted by her. It is our hope that Rough Beauty continues carrying forward the kindness and mindful living that she embodied.

Once again, we extend our deepest gratitude to our Rough Beauty community for your unwavering support throughout this journey, and for every purchase made that contributed to these meaningful causes.

Starting the new year with an important announcement! The passing of our founder JT has left many of our supporters wondering what's our plan for the future. We are happy to share that Ming, JT's husband, and Fang, JT's sister will be stepping in to fill the big shoes that JT left behind.

Ming is a seasoned entrepreneur and has been supporting and advising JT from the beginning.

Fang has been a close sibling to JT and helped out in various aspects of Rough Beauty, from pop-ups to social media. She understands her sister the best.

More importantly, both share JT's strong beliefs which are reflected in Rough Beauty's values and philosophy.

As a team, we will do our utmost to carry on the spirit of JT through Rough Beauty. There is so much more we can do to bring our handmade and natural products to our supporters and the larger community.

On that note, we are also hiring! We can't do this by ourselves and are looking for folks who are motivated and passionate about the mission and brand.

A few more hours to the new year! Thank you everyone for being with us throughout this challenging journey. Looking back, we launched our balms which comes after a few years of R&D and tweaking from past experiences. We also put out our seasonal soaps, which was very well received ❤️

Going into 2024, we look forward to bringing you more great new products that are filled with the natural goodness that we believe in. We also want to bring the RB community closer together as we engage you further.
