Student perspective of inter-religious dialogue of Pope Francis with youth: Christine Tay, a CJC student who was an usher during Pope Francis' visit to the CJC, shares some photos she managed to take at the event. She said "I feel so honoured to be able to help out in such a historical event and I was delighted to see how enthusiastic everyone was for the interreligious dialogue. During the dialogue, Pope Francis mentioned how young people should venture out of their comfort zones and not be afraid of making mistakes. I am sure that after this dialogue, many youths in Singapore will be inspired to muster their courage to engage in more interreligious meetings." Raising their voices in faith: Catholic school choirs count down to the Papal Mass with only days to go. As the students practice the song “Arise, Shine” for the Papal Mass, their sweet voices blend in harmonious anticipation. Each note carries hope, echoing through throughout the Church of the Holy Spirit. Surely, Pope Francis would be delighted by this heartfelt offering—a chorus of unity and joy rising from young hearts.
