Severe floods in Kenya!
As some of you may have seen news reports covering the devastation following the dam burst and severe floods in Kenya, we are in contact with our team around the clock. We have our folks on the ground, as a number of families whose children attend Metro’s Sunday Schools have been affected, and they are trying to get as much information as possible back to us as it’s available. They are working to contact as many families as possible who have reported family members missing, who have suffered deaths, and whose homes have been destroyed. Please take a minute and pray for these people who have already lost family members and those who are awaiting word on the missing. We are getting together as many things as possible locally to help, but obviously with the need so great, those supplies will be running out quickly.
