Fullhouse Lunch Time earlier. ♥️♥️
MyPizza Has Arrived! 💪🏽
First we change from opening at 3pm to 12pm. Then this past Tuesday, we started opening at 11am.
And today, right at the very start of us opening our doors for business at 11am, it has been non-stop and a fullhouse lunch right through almost 4pm! ♥️
Today is exactly 1 month since Rafex joins MyPizza Full Time!
Anisa and myself have been training him diligently and he has been absorbing like a sponge! So proud of him. 💪🏽
The Cheese Man.
My late Dad introduced me to Keith back in 2019. He and my late Dad had a 20 year business relationship. My Dad supported him through the decades. He respects my Dad a whole lot and always speaks fondly of him till this day
So after I took over MyPizza, Keith and me grew closer. He has been my strong pillar of support in the entire line of Halal cheese, the highest graded and the finest. He was very surprised with the depth of my knowledge on cheese through the years. Lol. I told him, "I'm crazy like that. Cos I wanna know everything!".
When Covid hit back then and the Russian/Ukraine conflict started, cost of supplies all over the world shot up like nobody's business. The price of Mozzarella is now almost 4 times compared to 2021. But Keith fought for me for the best price he could.
Keith told me many times he knew what I am capable of and what MyPizza would become in the future. He told me years back and he told me again just 2 days ago when he dropped by MyPizza to catch up with me. That is, he saw the same fire and drive in me just like my late father.
Keith is one of the people I cherished and am glad I met and know during this entrepreneurial journey of mine. 😊

This was about 2 months from the time I took over MyPizza from my late father back in 2019. This was the place where he stood with his best friend and mentee, GK and he told me..
"Abang, in the years to come..your competitors will have a very tough time competing with you".
I said, "What makes you say that? They have the money".
My Late Father, " They may have the money. But they do not have YOU.
30 years with almost 700 pizza restaurants with my name on it. I know".
This is why I work like no other till this day.
All I need was THAT validation. The belief from a father to his son.

We broke all of our records! It was beyond insane! We are super grateful but me and Anisa could not even describe the exhaustion that we are feeling right now as I am typing this.

P.S: I only managed to capture about 1/3 of all of the orders. Did not have any time to post any on all socmeds the past 2 weeks. Finally I managed to edit and put all of these together. But it took me 13 hours of my off day yesterday! 😅

After hiring 2 In-House Drivers and now, with 2 Full Time staffs as well to operate our kitchen, Anisa can now focus more on operating the front of house (soon, with part-timers joining us) and managing the restaurant and myself overseeing everything from the ground up, MyPizza's team now is a 6 full-time headcount strong! 💪🏽
This is one of my biggest goals accomplished for MyPizza Upper Thomson. And now, it's gonna be a totally different game cos I have my ammunition.

For 5 years, customers have been asking me for a seafood pizza. So finally, here it is! And it has been a hit since our new menu launch last week!
Announcement: 2 weeks ago, we opened back Tuesdays. And today onwards, we start opening back at 12 pm and close an hour later at 11pm instead of the usual 10pm.

MYPIZZA NEW MENU LAUNCH!! 🔥🔥
Today is the day! Today is the day I put MyPizza on the pedestal alongside our rivals. This time I really went berserk. I went all out!
This new menu is a testament of my 28 year culinary journey since I was 12. The day my late Dad first brought me into his pizza restaurant to work and also all the lessons my amazing Momsy taught me on how to cook all the delicious meals all through the years!
I added more than 30 items to our new menu! I created more than 10 pizzas on top of all the previous ones! We have a new soon-to-be trademarked pizza called 'Pepperpino' with pepperoni and jalapeńos toppings! We also have Truffled Funghi now and many new pizzas!
For the first time, I made a Seafood Pizza option, not one but two! I created a Salmon Pizza! It is called, 'Garlic Butter Salmon'. Wait till you try this! I have been listening to some of our customers who are pescatarians and some who are seafood lovers..so here it is for you guys! ♥️
I also brought back my own Signature Spicy Bullet Wings! So now we have 2 different Signature Wings..BBQ & Spicy Bullet! 🔥
I brought back our salads too. 4 different range of salads! I made more pastas available. Now we have Spagheti & Fusilli other than our best selling lasagna! I created a new appetizer, 'Baked Cheesy Mushrooms' using Fresh White Button Mushrooms drizzled with EVO, parmesan, baked with a layer of Mozzarella and garnished with parsley.
I upgraded everything from A to Z on the menu! No more basil flakes. I only use fresh basil flakes to every tomato sauce and also our Margherita pizza from now on! I threw canned mushrooms out the window and use only fresh button mushrooms from now moving on! It's more food cost for me now but like I said, I went berserk for my customers!
We also have so much more range for beverages, one more dip added, more side orders too such as breaded onion rings and chicken cheese balls are added! We also have a new combo, Party Combo for bigger crowd!
Anisa and myself have been working like no other every day especially in the past few months, sleeping so late at 5 or 6 am working and tightening this menu and waking up just 2-3 hours later to head back to the restaurant again! And now that I am already assembling my team, the consistency of our menu will be even more solid!
This new menu now is already available at this very moment across every platform for self-pickup, delivery and also dining in!
This. Will make MyPizza be a force to be reckon in the pizza world in Singapore!

Finally after 7 months, today is the day! The day that we open back Tuesdays! So we are already open now for business!
I See Things Differently. And I Made It Happen.
When I first arrived here, me and Anisa met the landlord's representative, she showed me this then she asked, "What are you going to make out of this place?".
Me: I'm going to build my pizza restaurant here.
She: Wah! I cannot quite picture it now cos the place is not that huge. I don't know how you're going to do it but I wish you the very best!
Me: 1st, Thank You cos I need that. 2nd, I'm on a mission to build the no.1 Pizza Brand in Singapore.

Mr Yusof Kamarudin
Founder, MyPizza
Yusof’s entrepreneurial journey in the culinary world started back in 1996 with opening of 2 ‘Canadian 2 For 1 Pizza’ stores in Singapore. Through his sheer hard work over the years, he was the driving force behind the business expansion of 15 stores island-wide by the year 2000.
In 2001, he and a group of investors started ‘Sarpinos Pizzeria’. The first franchise outlet was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After the fourth outlet in KL, he moved and expanded the business to Singapore in 2003. By 2005, ‘Sarpinos Pizzeria’ had expanded to over 200 outlets worldwide mainly in SEA Region, Australia, the Middle East, North America, USA and China. Over the years, ‘Sarpinos Pizzeria’ has become a household name in Asia especially in Singapore and garnered many positive reviews from critics, media and the public.
In 2007, he was appointed as the Sole Agent in South-East Asia for ‘Moretti Forni’ of Italy, which specializes in pizza and bakery equipment. ‘Moretti Forni’ is one of Italy’s biggest and one of the world’s finest oven makers for both commercial and industrial kitchens. He has curated and supplied ‘Jamie’s Italian’ by Jamie Oliver, facebook’s corporate HQ in Singapore, multiple renowned 5 star hotels in Bali and many more.
