Established in September 2014. Bridging the gap between the public and the existing arts community. We host exhibitions of the artist's work semiannually.
We endeavour to develop and instil a sense of appreciation for art amongst the younger generation by raising awareness for deserving artists. Merlin Gallery act as a platforms for distinguished and up-and-coming artists, to exhibit their works by engaging in creative discourse. As a gesture of showing great appreciation towards the late pioneer artist, Merlin Gallery also dedicates its space as Dr Chen Wen Hsi Art Museum.

In August 1990, Johnny Quek organised an art exhibition for Dr Chen Wen Hsi at "1990 National Day Art Exhibition." Around 80 artworks were displayed at the exhibition.
