After years of brewing iconic award-winning alcoholic beers, the Brewerkz brew crew set out on a mission in 2024 to produce our first non-alcoholic beer. We couldn’t quite arrive there but still crafted a refreshing alternative – an 𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚-𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐀𝐁𝐕 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐏𝐀 (𝟏.𝟏%).

In honour of the beer still brewed by our head brewmaster Mitch the brew was named ‘Still Mitch’.

Winner of the Bronze award (No/Low-Alcohol) category at Asia Beer Championship 2024. Still Mitch is packed full of tropical flavours. This World Sustainability Day we shine the spotlight on our NEWGrain+ chips, made with brewers spent grain, a by-product of brewing beer. At the recent Singapore Design Week 2024, we launched two brand new flavours – Mala and Salt & Lime, to the delight of festival participants. In celebration of 𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 (𝟎𝟐 - 𝟎𝟔 𝐒𝐞𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒), Brewerkz is excited to share about our sustainability initiatives in line with Singapore’s Green Plan 2030’s goal of reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills.

Brewerkz is playing our part by finding alternative uses for brewers spent grain (BSG) - a by-product of brewing beer. Currently 40 million tonnes of BSG are produced each year, enough to fill 80,000 Olympic sized swimming pools.

NEWGrain+ is our brand of products that we make using BSG. Through research and development, we have managed to create products ranging from tortilla chips to pizza bases that are equally tasty and more nutritious than conventional ones.
