After 28 years as Mag’s Wine Kitchen, we are rebranding as 𝙈𝘼𝙂'𝙎, ushering in a fresh chapter that embraces Wafu Cuisine, which combines traditional Japanese flavours with local and European influences.
Our chef/owner Mag will be passing the torch to one of the culinary visionaries of the next generation, Ian Tan, the recent winner of the prestigious World Young Chef Young Waiter competition in Monaco. Ian brings with him valuable experience from Michelin-starred kitchens to his creative direction of our new Wafu menu.
Guests at MAG'S can look forward to an array of original à la carte Wafu dishes, including a new noodle bar and tailored Omakase menus available upon request. Of course, we also have a carefully selected range of affordable sakes and wines to complete your dining experience.

MOULIN DE LA LAGUNE 2015
Second wine of the prestigious Château La Lagune, Moulin de La Lagune 2015 has the style of a great red wine of the Haut-Médoc. Intense ruby red color, on the nose the wine reveals aromas of blackcurrant, blackberries, black olives and to***co. The taste is full-bodied, with well-defined tannins that ends with a fresh and persistent final note.

PAVILLON DE LÉOVILLE POYFERRÉ SAINT-JULIEN 2017
An outstanding second wine from Château Léoville-Poyferré, this 2017 vintage is adorned with a beautiful intense dark robe. The nose offers delicate perfumes of violet and dark berries, and with agitation, releases aromas of liquorice and wood. Very balanced and medium bodied on the palate, the attack is delicate with soft tannins, finishing long and refreshing.

Soy, sake and mirin is a much-loved and well-used trifecta in Japanese seasoning. We’ve used these here because they work beautifully with a mild flavoured fish like cod. With clams for sweetness and texture, and saffron for dimension, we have a winner of a dish.

LA CHAPELLE DE LA MISSION HAUT-BRION 2018
Produced in small quantities, this second wine is a gateway to the world of Château La Mission Haut-Brion. Its name is a nod to the chapel of La Mission Haut-Brion, built by Lazarist priests in 1698.
Beautiful, deep colour. The nose displays fresh fruit aromas complemented by an elegant touch of oak. The first impression on the palate is smooth and full-bodied, becoming soft and delicious with aeration. Excellent tannic structure culminating in a beautiful long aftertaste enhanced by fruity and spicy flavours.

BARON DE BRANE 2014
Superb nose, very expressive and bursting with fruits. Intense wild strawberries and licorice nose, with a touch of menthol and caramel. Beautiful finesse and aromatic richness. Straightforward in the mouth, with firm yet elegant tannins. Long and dense backbone with a very nice volume and a lot of freshness. Concentrated aromatic aftertaste with floral and chocolaty notes. ALTER EGO DE PALMER 2017
The second wine of Château Palmer, the 2017 Alter Ego de Palmer is deep garnet-purple in colour and springs from the glass with vivacious black raspberries, black cherries and crushed blackcurrants notes plus hints of Sichuan pepper, menthol, pencil lead and cardamom. Medium-bodied, the palate is charged with energy, featuring expressive, bright black fruits and firm, fine-grained tannins, finishing long and lively.
