Diwali is just around the corner inviting us all to start with the celebrations. And what can be better than to kick start the celebrations by showing our appreciation to our customers!

Transworld Group Singapore organized a Customer Appreciation evening on Nov 06, 2023.

Further, this year marks the 25 years of the group as well, it was the time for double celebrations. Mr. Mahesh Sivaswamy – Chairman Transworld Group Singapore, Ms. Mala Mahesh , Mr. Murli Mahesh , Mr. Ganesh Krishnan, Mr. Jagdamba Nautiyal, Mr. Srikant Patnaik, Mr. G. Sundarrajan, Mr. Sunil Raina, Mr. Sandeep Trehan, Mr. Reetu Pallav and Mr. Shivendra Rawat were present. It was organized to thank all the customers and trade partners who have been associated with the group all these years.

Mr Mahesh Sivaswamy, in his speech, acknowledged the association with each customer over these 25 years.

Recent developments in the company were also highlighted in his speech. The CFS business of the group, which has its presence in Nhavasheva, Mundra, Dadri, and Kolkata is brought under one brand - Transworld Terminals. A new Transworld Logistics Park is also at the development stage at Chennai.

Strait Orient Lines (SOL) provides a network of reliable container feeder services linking all major ports in the region. Transworld GLS is present in all major markets in Asia. The recent addition to the Group is Transworld Wellness- where Ms. Mithila is addressing the seafarer's mental wellness.

Mr. Mahesh Sivaswamy informed the gathering about Ms. Mithila and Mr. Murli joining the business.

Transworld Group Singapore hopes to be serving and connected to its customers even more in the coming years.

With the motto “Ek Kadam Swachhata Ki Aur”, a week-long 'Swachhata Abhiyan' initiative was undertaken in all locations.
We organized a cleanliness drive and an awareness session to promote cultural values of cleanliness and respect for nature, instilling a sense of responsibility for both people and the environment.
It was made possible by the active participation and collaboration of all the team members to promote cleanliness and hygiene.

As it is said since old times, it always rains on Janmashtami day, this year was no different.
Transworld Group Singapore Chairman – Mr. Mahesh Sivaswamy was in town. Despite heavy rains, Mumbai’s traffic conditions, and the long route to CFS, the chairman made it to the CFS, along with Mr. Ganesh Krishnan and Mr. Murli Mahesh. The team was very excited to meet and greet the Chairman. Mr. Reetu Pallav and the team had a fruitful interaction with the management.

Transworld Group Singapore Chairman Mr. Mahesh Sivaswamy and Mrs Mala Mahesh visited Mundra, Gujarat. They were accompanied by Murli S Mahesh and Mr Ganesh Krishnan, Director & CEO- Transworld Terminals.Mr. Sandeep Trehan, Vice President Mundra along with the whole Mundra team warmly welcomed the management. A tour of the facility along with a comprehensive presentation including operational highlights was presented to the management. It was followed by a visit to the Adani Port.
A visit to Transworld terminals Gandhidham office was also scheduled wherein the chairman interacted with the Mundra sales and commercial team.
Transworld Terminals is associated with the Rotary Club, Gandhidham for their Forest development and maintenance project. With about 45,000 saplings planted, the forest is growing exquisitely with its vision of "Giving Back to Nature". Our Chairman and visitors made sure to include the visit to the forest as well.

Transworld Park - Developed and maintained by M4 Foundation was dedicated to the residents of Mundra.
It was a happy occasion for the Transworld team to provide this park/recreation facility for Mundra residents.
The inauguration was done by Mr. Kishore Singh Parmar – Mundra Baroi Nagar Municipal President and Mr. Mahesh Sivaswamy – Chairman, Transworld Group Singapore on Sep 06, 2023, at Mundra- Baroi Nagar, Mundra, Gujarat.
Mrs. Mala Mahesh, Mr. Ganesh Krishnan, Mr. Murli S Mahesh, Mr. Sandeep Trehan from Transworld, Ms. Chandrika Ben Patidaar- Mundra Baroi Nagar Municipal Vice President, Mr. Dayalal Ahir -Mundra Baroi Nagar Municipal General Secretary and Mr. Dosabhai – Head of Charan Samaj were also present to grace the occasion.

We are thrilled to announce the official joining of our daughter, Dr. Mithila Mahesh, and our son, Murli Mahesh to Transworld Group Singapore.

Mithila is the founder of Transworld Wellness, a subsidiary of our group, which provides seafarers with effective physical and mental health solutions

to enhance their wellness. After graduating with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Mithila started this initiative to prioritise the mental wellness of our

seafarers. It is no doubt that Transworld Wellness has been a great support to the underappreciated heroes at sea.

Murli specialises in Maritime Law. After successfully passing the Singapore Bar Examinations, Murli completed a placement in one of Singapore’s

leading law firms. As we know, legal practice demands in-depth knowledge of the law, proficiency in critical thinking, and foresight with a fresh

perspective. With these qualities, Murli is joining us as a Management Executive of Transworld Group Singapore.

The Maritime industry comprises a vast range of sectors. With the amalgamation of knowledge and expertise in the Psychology and Legal fields,

we are confident that Mithila and Murli will contribute positively to the Maritime industry; and with our TGSIN family, bringing Transworld Group Singapore

to greater heights!

On July 1st, 2023, our vessel, SOL Pioneer, completed her maiden voyage to Haldia Port from Singapore. We had the privilege to have Ms. Reshma Nilofer join on board as our Marine Pilot to guide the vessel from the Pilot station to Haldia Docks.

It's indeed a moment of pride to have India's first and only female marine pilot on board SOL Pioneer!

Ms. Reshma Nilofer Visalakshi works with Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata (erstwhile Kolkata Port Trust) for over 10 years. She has been conferred the highest civilian honour for women in India, the “Nari Shakti Puraskar” by the then President of India, Mr. Ram Nath Kovind (8 March 2019).

Looking forward to more such woman pioneers in our male-dominated shipping industry!!

We welcome our 15th vessel into our fleet today!

It gives us great pleasure to announce that we have taken delivery of the container vessel, M.V SOL PIONEER (1100 teus capacity) today, 13th June 2023 at 1438hrs (Singapore time) in Singapore.

M.V SOL Pioneer is the sister vessel of M.V SOL Progress, M.V SOL Fortune & M.V SOL Stride.

Wadia Hospital offers state-of-the-art services for neonatal and pediatric care at affordable costs, making that message – and the dream of the forefathers - come true.

Transworld Terminals has been in association with Wadia Hospital under one of its Social initiatives.

On Feb 25, 2023, the management team from Transworld Group Singapore - Mrs. Mala, Mr. Mahesh Sivaswamy, and Mr. Ganesh Krishnan along with their prestigious guests Mrs & Mr. Unnikrishnan Parakkal made a friendly visit to the Wadia Hospital. They met all the staff, patients and Doctors at the Hospital. Mrs. Mala Mahesh appreciated the great work Dr. Sumitra and her colleagues are doing in the hospital, helping so many lives.

We feel very fortunate to be able to support them in their noble cause.

Much privileged to hand over a contributory cheque of Rs. 5 Lakh to Devendra Sir, Trustee, Ramakrishna Seva Mandal, towards their constant efforts to manage schools in remote areas of Kutch, Gujarat.

TGLS across all locations including HQ Singapore attended the most awaited conference "25th years of logistics partnering: WCA Worldwide Conference" held in Singapore during 18-22 Feb 2023.

Mr Mahesh Sivaswamy and Mr. Ganesh Krishnan attended 7th edition, Global Business Summit 2023 held on Feb 17th and Feb 18th at Taj Palace, New Delhi.

Shri Narendra Modi, the honorable Prime Minister of India was the Chief Guest where he delivered his keynote addressing the Economic Times Global Business Summit 2023. The Prime Minister elaborated on the idea of “One world, One family, One future”.

It was great listening to and meeting such prominent leaders from across the globe ranging from Industry leaders to top government officials.

New India is making its prominent place in the global economy. The next 25 years will not only be a period of national development and glory but also an occasion when the country will play an important role in giving direction to the rest of the world. To further the bold vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister of India of becoming a USD 5 Trillion Economy, the nation’s Business leaders, State Governments, and Visionaries will have to collectively work towards this singular agenda and drive ‘Economic Change.’

We are delighted to be a part of the “Local to Global” Agri supply chain.

Ms. Mala Mahesh and Mr. Mahesh Sivaswamy, Chairman- Transworld Group Singapore visited the Transworld Terminals Dadri facility today on Jan 21, 2023 along with Dr. Mithila Valli Mahesh, Mr. Ajay Dhesikan, and Mr. Murali Sivaswamy Mahesh.

Mr. Ganesh Krishnan, CEO, and Mr. Sunil Raina, Vice President happily welcomed them along with all team members.

Mithila, Ajay, and Murali planted a sapling as a part of the Group Company’s commitment towards the environment.

They took a tour of the whole facility including the warehouse, container yard, re**er points, rail side, training centre, etc.

They viewed the 1MW Roof Top Solar Power Plant installed at the facility which helps in generating clean energy sustainably. To date, it has helped to achieve energy savings equivalent to 3,369 barrels of Oil or saving 537 trees. Ms. Mala Mahesh precisely was very excited to understand this “Heal the Nature” initiative toward Mother Earth.

They all were very glad to learn about various other social initiatives the company had undertaken. The entire team was appreciated and encouraged to participate more in such initiatives contributing to society.

Everyone at Transworld Terminals Dadri CFS was immensely happy & enthusiastic to spend the day with the Chairman & his family. They met every team member personally and had a fruitful discussion with all.

The day was spent with much ardor and excitement.
