The number of days for menstruation is about 5 days, plus minus 2 days(varies from person to person according to the amount of blood flow. 一般女性的周期有28-30天，加减7天。 经期大概5天，加减2天(根据不同的病人的经量） So, that being said, what does TCM or western doctors consider irregular menstruation? 中医和西医是怎么看待月经不调呢？ For irregular menstruation there are different kinds of definitions, depending on what type you are referring to. Some patients can have varying menstrual cycle length. For example, some can have cycle length varying from 2 to 3 weeks to a few months. Another aspect that we can consider is the menstrual flow can be too much or too little.
