Import/Export Customer Service Assistant/Executive (Container)

Responsibilities:

Create import/export documentation.
Process and ensure accuracy of customs documentation.
Assist Operations Controller in all operations work if required.
Handle client query and complaints via calls/emails from customers.
Create/Update delivery schedule into transport management system.
Portnet processing.
Perform other administrative jobs such as filing, IOU letters, refund documents, scanning and email receipts to customers.
Maintain all files and paperwork relating to import/export matters.
Perform all adhoc duties as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements:

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Meticulous and service-oriented
Preferably knowledge and experience in trucking and transportation environment.
Team player who can communicate and work effectively with other team members.

Customer Service Executive (Transport)

Job Description
Working days: 5.5 days (alternate saturdays)
Working hours: 8am to 5.30pm (Monday to Friday : 8am to 12pm (Saturday)
Job Responsibilities:
• Handle import and export shipments.
• Liaise with customers via email and phone on the delivery and collection schedules for FCL containers & LCL cargoes.
• To support the OSH program and make safety and health a part of their daily routine and to ensure that they are following safe work methods and relevant regulations.
• Check containers release in Portnet.
• Data entry of jobs details in our in-house E-log systems (TMS).
• Arrange local transportation as required.
• General administrative support as required by members of Transport Department and management.
• Liaise with customers or vendors related to procurement and administrative requirements.
• Monitor vessel schedule via PSA Portnet and Jurong port system.
• Prepare documentation for lifting operation perform in Port facilities.
• Prepare documentation for cargoes clearance from Keppel Distripark, Jurong port.
• Prepare and submit Police es**rt application for Out of Gauge (OOG) Cargoes when necessary.
• Book crane for OOG containers.
• Monitor container return and collection.
• Perform general administrative duties eg, Invoicing, Filing, Mailing, Faxing and Photocopying.
Job Requirements:
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and excellent organizational abilities.
• Familiar with PSA Portnet, Jurong Port system and trade Web Live
• Meticulous and attentive to details and follow ups
• Capable to work independently and pressure
• A good team player who is self–motivated and independent with good attitude.
• Willing to take responsibility and accountability of their role.
• Capable of identifying and suggesting improvements
• Well-versed Microsoft Office skill: Power point Presentation, Excel & Word.
