A few weeks ago Marc came to us with a very special wish. He asked us to design and create a wooden brooch for him.
The process of working with Marc was smooth, respectful, creative and very enjoyable.

This is why we named this brooch-design after him.

THE LOVERS, 2022

Carved from 1 massive piece of walnut root, "The Lovers" remains one of Dejans most precious and valuable sculptures.
He carefully worked on the design and carvings over several weeks . The sculpture is spotless and a masterpiece of craftsmanship.

The sculpture is a single piece and will remain the only one of her kind.

Today "The Lovers" found a new home overseas. With a laughing and a crying eye we are sending it soon on its journey.

DEVUR-Horses/Knights are handcrafted from Walnut - & Oakwood.
Artist Dejan Hribar launched his first collection in 2022, followed by the second edition in 2023. As well as a collector’s edition from walnut-root.

The knight is the only piece in the game of chess that can “jump over” other pieces, regardless of whether those pieces are black or white. Its’ elegance and flexibility is reflected in the carefully designed and shaped sculptures.
