🎉 We're thrilled to announce that our project, PiroMaček Shop, has been awarded the prestigious golden DIGGIT award! 🏆

This unique webshop was created in collaboration with ZOO Ljubljana as part of our effort to support the socialization of dogs with behavioral challenges, a common obstacle in finding them new homes. Instead of purchasing real fireworks, users "exploded" with kindness, providing donations for this meaningful cause.

Our team of talented colleagues, including Marin Mešter (Lead UI), Rikardo Komen (Development), and Doris Kordić (Project Manager), worked tirelessly to ensure the project was not only successful but also innovative and user-friendly. The result is a website that's as engaging and interactive as it is effective in meeting its goals.

We're proud of this recognition, but more than that, we're proud to have made a tangible difference for animals in need. This award is a testament to the power of digital solutions and the potential they hold to create positive change.

At CNJ digital we hopped on the headless CMS wagon some time ago with Statamic CMS. It enabled us to build faster and better websites.

If you don't know what headless way is and why should you use it on your next project, read bellow.

1️⃣ Speed ⚡
Headless CMSs are becoming more popular because they are easier to deploy and manage. Since they are serving pure HTML/CSS to the end users, pages created with them they are usually much much faster, which shows on Google page speed results and is very important for search engine rankings.

2️⃣ Security 🔒
Unlike the traditional CMS approach, the front end and back end of a Headless CMS are not linked to each other. So, even if a hacker gains access to your content database, they cannot get your website/app offline because the front end is not predetermined. This reduces the chances of DDoS attacks. Additionally, since the headless CMS is typically hosted on a separate server, it is much more difficult for hackers to attack it.

3️⃣ Future proof 🛰️
Using headless CMS also future proofs your website. You can keep using the same CMS but change the website frontend every couple of years to keep if fresh, which lowers the costs of websites considerably. It also enables our clients to edit content in once place and deploy in different locations such as a website and a mobile app.
