🎤 Miloš Košprdić, a researcher at The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia (IVI) in Novi Sad, specializes in NLP and LLMs, with a focus on Semantic Search and addressing hallucinations in responses generated by Generative Language Models.

He will be joining us from Serbia to deliver his talk titled: Verif.ai: A Trustworthy Scientific Generative Search Engine

With a background in linguistics and mathematics from the University of Novi Sad and a PhD candidate in AI at the University of Belgrade, Milos lectures at the Petnica Science Center, promoting interdisciplinary and heuristic teaching to foster individual potential.

In his talk, Milos will discuss Verif.ai, an open-source scientific question-answering system that integrates information retrieval, generative models, and verification engines to ensure accuracy and reliability, revolutionizing knowledge dissemination in scientific domains.

🎤 Kovacev is an AI Developer at our partnering company TIS GRUPA.

She will be joining us from Croatia to deliver her talk titled: How does TIS.AI speak?

Ivana is interested in everything regarding the field of data science. One day, she hopes to become an expert in the whole lifecycle of data, from structuring, analyzing, and developing appropriate machine learning models. Ideally, she would like to utilize these skills to enable a better quality of life for all people.

In her talk, Ivana discusses the multifaceted interactions of TIS.AI, spanning from engaging with infants to assisting vineyards. She explores the rationale behind TIS.AI's interaction with infants, shedding light on the benefits and implications of such engagements. Additionally, Ivana delves into how vineyards utilize TIS.AI, showcasing its applications and impact within agricultural contexts.

🎤 Nadav Sagir is the CEO of the CtrlArt. He will be joining us from Slovenia to deliver his talk titled: Augmenting our Reality with Technology - A Practical Guide to Real, world Applications of XR Technologies in Education

With over 20 years of experience, he excels as a public speaker, program coordinator, and mentor in 3D production and AR technology. Nadav's educational background includes a Master's in Video Art and a Bachelor's in Photography, Video, and Post-production, reflecting his deep commitment to the arts and creative expression

Nadav's talk will explore the use of XR technologies in education and cultural heritage. He'll share insights and applications in vocational training, simulations, psychology, social issues, and creative learning. Using real case studies, Nadav will highlight trends and future prospects, offering valuable perspectives on technology and learning.

We are excited to share a few images from an exciting new Virtual Reality experience we are creating for the “Muzej Lojzeta Slaka in Toneta Pavčka” in Mirna Peč Slovenia. The VR experience brings to life a traditional children's story written by Tone Pavček and illustrated by Melita Vovk.

The creation of all the characters and their translation from a specific illustration to stylized 3d was an exciting challenge.
The experience lets the user fly over the landscape of Slovenia , discover new continents and cultures. It’s an immersive and interactive way to explore the world of the story and learn about different places and people. Experience the magic of virtual reality and discover a new way of storytelling.

With over 4 years of experience in the field, Rok Piltaver is a highly accomplished Senior Data Scientist currently contributing his expertise at OUTFIT7. His impressive career includes significant contributions as a Researcher at the renowned Jozef Stefan Institute for more than 13 years. Rok has also excelled as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in analytics, during his tenure at Celtra, Inc.

In this talk, Rok will delve into the application of clustering techniques to analyze and categorize player strategies, ultimately enhancing the generation of non-player characters in video games.

🎙 Pavle Petrović, an accomplished Technical and Team Lead with eight years of experience at Ubisoft, currently serves as a Machine Learning Framework expert within the Technology Group.

He will be joining us all the way from Canada to deliver his talk!

Pavle contributed significantly to notable games like "Riders Republic" and "Steep." With a background in DSP and Embedded Systems Engineering, he has experience at High Tech Engineering Center and Intel Corporation.
