I had planned attending a music concert held last year and when I called their line to request info on how to buy my ticket, I was given a long list of places I could purchase from. I stay at the Juba part of town & none of these places, so listed, was close to my house. The rigour of having to go to town just to get that ticket robbed me of that opportunity to attend the concert🙄

Another event came up but this time, tickets were sold at the gate of the National stadium. I had gotten to the stadium dressed up and happy, when I met this mammoth like gathering queuing from the gate and spilling onto the main Syke street and Brookfield!😱 I knew, this wasn't for me!

Two different occasions! Two different events! I couldn't attend none because of poor ticketing arrangement!

It's with relief I got to learn of this wonderful venture by Sierra Leoneans, hoping to help organise the way events are organised in the country. IT, when properly deployed, can help solve so many problems! This is what the guys at Express Tickets have planned! Scope of the position
As a graphic designer, you'll need to:
- Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
- Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
- Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
- Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
- Communicating with clients about layout and design.
- Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop.
- Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

Qualifications
- A degree or certificate in graphic design or related field.
- Experience as a graphic designer or in related field.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Experience with computer-aided design.

What to expect
- Although the work is remote based, you'll need to work with colleagues in office when necessary. You may need to work outside to plan and deliver.
