A hard homecoming for South Sudanese escaping Sudan 24/05/2023

It's indeed disheartening to see that in many situations, women tend to bear the brunt of the hardships.

A hard homecoming for South Sudanese escaping Sudan Thousands are arriving every day, but there is sparse aid on arrival.

Our youth are our future! ❤️❤️❤️

Although this is a very challenging time for youth in South Sudan, it is important to know that you are not alone. As the whole world is watching you, know that there are many that are standing with you and supporting you, for you are our hope for the future. We believe in you, your visions, your abilities and most of all the power you hold to create positive change within our communities and the world.

Let us unit and join hands to work together to ensure that all young people are given the opportunity to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

Our Youth are our future and we need them to be strong, determined, passionate, resilient and compassionate towards one another in order to make a difference in our country and the world.

Youth have always been at the forefront of change. From leading social movements, to starting new businesses, to transforming the way we use and understand technology and the extraordinary way they bridge gaps and connect each generation. Young people are constantly finding new ways to make an impact and on this International Youth Day, we celebrate all that youth have accomplished and recommit ourselves to supporting our youth and jointing their efforts to create a brighter future for our young nation and all its citizens.

Happy International Youth Day!

On July 30th, the people of South Sudan are commemorating Martyrs’ Day. We honor the memory of South Sudanese's martyrs and their families who have sacrificed so much for our country. On this day, let us all resolve to do our part to bring about a lasting peace in South Sudan.

What are you telling yourself? 💯

Dear Members,

We regret to inform you that our WEI Monthly Bazaar and Exhibitions will not be taking place this month😭😭😭
The increase in costs from hotel rentals has forced us into an unfortunate situation where we cannot afford the hall rent services at their new rates, which is three times higher than what they were before! We've explored some other options but have yet to find anything reasonable or better so until then please let me know if there are any suggestions as soon as possible because everyone's efforts matter more now especially since it seems like nothing can come easy anymore in Juba without cost. 😭😭😭

Increase your brand awareness with social media marketing!

for those in Business. You need to market your business on Facebook and Instagram. This is where many people in South Sudan are spending their time. You need to bring your products or services in front of them so they will know about your business. Being consistent is the key to getting your brand in front of many people. The more you post, the more people will see your business and what you have to offer.

Make sure to use high-quality images and videos in your posts so people will be interested in checking out your business. Also, use hashtags so people can easily find your posts. Engage with your audience by responding to comments and messages.

Happy birthday to the Republic of South Sudan and happy 11th anniversary of independence to all its citizens.

11 years of independence, freedom, and nation building. 11 years of highs and lows. 11 years of celebrating many achievements and success. 11 years of being the world’s youngest nation, working hard to thrive among many nations and learning through many challenges and setbacks how to stand on our own.

We have experience tremendous joys and hardship throughout the 11 years. We have lost many of our loved ones and heroes along the way and given birth to a new generation of bright and talented youth that just like the star on our flag are leading us towards a brighter future.

As we celebrate 11 years today, may we celebrate our freedom fighters and all those who gave their lives for the independence of our nation. May we celebrate all those that worked and negotiated the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) and the team that wrote South Sudan Oyee, that gave way to the birth of our nation and its national anthem. May we celebrate all those who collective came together and stood for freedom during the referendum, waiting in lines for hours and days to ensure that our children and their children and all generations to come can live a free and prosperous life.

We have come from far and persevered through many setbacks, economic hardships, internal conflict, displacement, natural disasters and much more to make it where we are today. The process of nation building has not been easy and through it all, it has given us the citizens of the Republic of South Sudan, the pervious gift of a place that we can all call home and an identity that only we the people of this great land share and hold. May we never forget the price we paid for our independence and freedom, and always remember that peace is a journey and not a destination, and may we always give peace a chance.

May this 11th anniversary of our independence, give us an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come and build on our vision from this point onwards in transforming our nation into the South Sudan We Want!

Happy Independence Day to all on this very special 11th anniversary of the birth of our nation.

South Sudan oyee! Junub Sudan oyee! Independence oyee!
