LECTURERS WILL NEVER TELL YOU THIS IN THE LECTURE HALLS.
If you are invited for a job interview, at the entrance of the gate or within the Organization's premises:
1.Politely greet everybody. I have seen MDs and Managers disguise and stand at the gate to observe interviewees.
2. Do not go inside and start charging your phone or begin to look for where to charge your phone.
3. Do not go inside and begin to chat with your phone or make unnecessary calls. Put the phone inside your bag. They could be monitoring you through the camera.
4. Avoid too much talk with fellow interviewees. Don't go there and begin to argue about the government of the day, escalated food prices and even lack of employment opportunities. Just be calm and positive.
5. Don't start praying and speaking in tongues to demonstrate your religiosity and closeness to God. Pray at home before going.
6. If they offer you Tea or food, Please reject it politely and thank them. You can take after the interview. If you take that Tea or food, you are out.
7. Don't chew gum, biscuit or anything. Go with a book and be reading it.
8. Never ever criticise your previous employer.
9. If you see somebody you know in the Organization, either as a staff or a fellow interviewee, greet him officially. Avoid creating an impression that you know him.
10. Do not appear too poor, helpless and inferior before the interviewer. Forget about South Sudan problems, your personal and family problems. Focus on the job.
11. After the interview, put up a smiling face, thank them and leave.
In most cases, interviewers assess and score interviewees by the factors above and not necessarily by the answers they provide on paper. They'll train you eventually to do the job if they employ you.

Some conversations prick the s**t out of me. One of them is the one-way view of South Sudanese students in South Sudan.
No matter how good your grades are, how skilled/motivated you are, how eloquent and competent you are--- as long as you study/studied in South Sudan, you are considered to be "inferior, sub-standard and not learned or not likely to learn", even by pseudo-intellectuals/academics who add "S" to almost every word, very consistent with usage of "yours excellency", do not know how and when to use "its and it's", and oblivious of other simple grammar rules.
So you have to first prove that you are not "inferior and incompetent", while those with questionable intellect are glorified 'just' because they went to elite school. This solitary thinking is detrimental. The name of your institution and the system of education of the country your institution is in plays a big role, no doubt, but let's not forget that there are those who can thrive regardless of the educational environment they are in and those who can fail even when they are taken to Harvard.
Young South Sudanese students in south Sudan bear a heavy psychological burden.

Meet Thomas Fuller, an African sold into Slavery in 1724 at the age of 14, was sometimes known as the "Virgin Calculator" for his extraordinary ability to solve complex maths problems in his head. He was asked how many seconds there were in a year and a half, he answered in about two minutes, 47,304,000. Again he was asked how many seconds a man has lived who is 70 years, 17 days and 12 hours old, he answered in a minute and a half 2,210,500,800.
One of the men was working out the problems on paper, and informed Fuller that he was wrong, because the answer was much smaller. Fuller hastily replied, "Top, massa, you forgot the leap year." When the leap was added, the sums matched.
My Last Confession!
Love brought us together,
I was younger,
She was tender.
But I killed her!
I had to kill her,
She deserve the kill,
She had to die.
We slept together,
And played together
Every night she sings for me
It felt so terribly good.
She got pregnant-
And got rampant.
She ate like vulture.
Insatiable!!
Slowly
she started milking me dry
I was left with no choice,
But to kill her.
Her name was anopheles
But I called her mosquitoes

"One of the greatest problems of our time is that many are schooled but few are educated."
Nikola Tesla ( 1856-1943 )
The history would have never known Nikola Tesla had he ever given up. As Bob Ruth said, “It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up.” When he was at college, his professor made fun of him because he believed that alternate current is possible.
He was cheated by Thomas Edison who stole his alternate current invention and didn't give him any money. He ended up digging ditches for $2 a day. Still, he was not ready to give up.
He built a small lab where he spent all his time to create a prototype of alternate electric motor. Finally, businessman George Westinghouse was impressed by his electric motor and invested to build and install an alternate current system across America. The AC electricity we take for granted in our home today was all because of Tesla. Thank you, Tesla, for not giving up!
In his life, he was ridiculed, made fun of and cheated by many people. But he believed in his ideas and never made excuses to stop his inventions. In his lifetime he received 800 patents and today we know his as “Father of Radio and Alternate Current”
Thus, friends, we need to keep working on your dream and never give up.
We may not have enough money but that cannot be your excuse. We might have failed once or twice but, that also cannot be our excuse to give up. We need to be like TESLA. We need to keep working on our dream. We can never let any obstacles stop us.
Let’s become like TESLA.
Let’s never give up.
