Dearest friends, colleagues and the general public.

In the picture below is Deng Manot Chour Dut, my immediate relative who had severely been suffering from renal failure (kidneys dysfunction) for nearly three years. Deng was brought in Juba on the 2nd of September, 2022 from Aweil to Juba Teaching Hospital for treatment which JTH only availed transfer so that we take him to Khartoum for further medications.

Deng was taken to Khartoum on 10th of September, 2024 and was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed of renal dysfunction caused by motor accident when he hit hard his aft-head to the ground. Deng was prescribed a treatment which he responded positively and his health conditions improved after two weeks. Doctors requested the donation of kidney to Deng and an initial amount of Sudanese Pounds nine million (SP 9, 000 000) for fare of kidney transfer.

That amount was raised yet Deng and the donor were respectively given some medical directives for three months in order for transfer to take place. In the process, Deng's malfunction kidneys took much of the amount in forms of weekly cleaning and some medical checks. When Deng and the donor were finally ready for the transfer, Sudan Civil War raged on amidst of shortages in the amount for final treatment, which Deng's family were trying to mobilize.

In July 2023, Deng's Doctors fled Sudan and had instructed him with three-month medications to leave Sudan as he will mobilize money to get back after the situations are calm. The situations in Sudan had continously raged on which prompted Deng to leave on August to Aweil via Me'rrem-Majok road.

Deng had only spend one month at home in Aweil to reach Juba. He had sold his cows, vehicles and plots in Aweil hoping to end the treatment which is now deteriorating. He felt down again to sickbed on October, 2023 where he couldn't help standout. Many attempts to treatment were tried in Juba Medical Complex, Promise Hospital, Juba Teaching Hospital and Ayii Duang's Hospital which none of the them seems promising.

Therefore, I sincerely appeal for financial support from each and everyone of you to help rescue Deng Manot Chour Dut to standout from sickbed. The long treatment have indeed drained Deng and his family of the little resources thus leaving him stranded with nothing. I wholeheartedly call on well-wishers, public figures, businessmen and all those deeply touched by the story of Deng with the sickness.
