is gearing up to launch the vaccine on July 16th through intensified social and behaviour change activities conducted by the Integrated Community Mobilization Network (ICMN) to ensure communities in malaria-burdened counties are well-informed about the vaccine.
In Rajaf East Payam, Central Equatoria State, social mobilisers utilise solar-powered radios and conduct door-to-door campaigns to raise awareness about the malaria vaccine.
The malaria vaccine is recommended for children aged 5-18 months.

Since its launch in 2022, the Lologo Water Treatment Plant is serving 35,000 people in Juba through 18 Kiosks for displaced people and host communities.
In a recent joint monitoring visit, KfW and UNICEF South Sudan officials toured and interacted with kiosk operators, beneficiaries, and government counterparts to acquaint themselves with the water services. As a result, the monitoring visit informed the Ministry of Water Resources and Urban Water Cooperation with better mechanisms to ensure the continuation and sustainability of the water plant.
