So it's our weekly day off today, I will be going to The Loft on Mabprachan Lake for a Sunday Carvery, so here's a reminder what you should be eating every other day in the ONLY dedicated fish and chips restaurant chain in Thailand, (now serving Thai food) and has actually turned into a Scottish mecca.

Wow, I had Greg Wood all up in my DM's last night telling me his menu for the next 2 weeks.
This week Steven Taylor has snatched the monthly prize from him by 3 points.

So Greg Wood has took the lead with an outstanding week, next week is the last weekend before we tally up for the monthly prize of anything from our daily specials menu and a Thai meal, somebody please beat Greg, he has still not picked up his last meal I owe him and I'm worried he'll end up being a shareholder if we owe him any more food.
James Power is not far behind, watch out for James lads, hes retired with more time on his hands than most so could be ready to pounce.

After a hard day's graft I treated myself to a chippy tea.
Haddock, chips, jumbo sausage, mushy peas and curry sauce.
Can't believe I forgot to order scraps again.
Time to head straight into a food coma and have that early night. 😜

So with only 1 game left of game week 1, Leicester vs Tottenham Hotspur, here is the first glance at the leader board.
Joint first is and on a very respectable 74 points.
I myself am mid table on 41 points leaving an injured midfielder in like a doughnut. No sign of James Power on that leader board, has he lost his midas touch?
Great start to the season for most the big clubs. Going to be an interesting one for sure.

Hi everyone,

Following the successful launch of our delicious Thai menu, Scottish fare and other fantastic additional menu items we regret to inform that the Sharples Sea-Monster will be delayed until further notice.
We have to remove our focus from our already adequate menu offerings and remained focused on getting deliveries set up.
To do this we need to get our packaging on point to deliver to you food at the highest possible level.
In a nutshell fish and chips does not travel well, never has never will not even in the UK, so we have to go the extra mile to ensure we deliver the absolute highest standard we can to you.
We currently are developing our own packaging and we are taking every possible step to achieve customer satisfaction.
Bringing out the Sea-Monster now is a step too far when we have more pressing issues that need immediate attention.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused and I'm sure we can re-visit this at some point in the future.

Tomorrow is the launch of our Thai menu.
It also coincides with our Doner Kebab Special, and Sharples Jomtien 12 month anniversary.
You can now enjoy your British Best with the misses and kids.
All staff at all restaurants have been fully trained on the new menu but please give them a little lee-way tomorrow with it being the first day of this roll out.

Our Thai menu will be launched on Monday 12th of August 2024 as part of our ongoing push on improvements and inclusion of a more family orientated environment.
These changes are absolutely vital to our growth and judging off our last few week's of quality control and management it's quite clear by the sales lift that these measures are being appreciated.
We have gone for a slower, steadier approach than 'my' usual gung ho approach. I have been well and truly reined in to get these changes rolled in as smooth a transition as possible.
Following on from this our advertised, Sharples Sea-Monster Special will be rolled out Monday the 19th giving our staff the adequate time across 3 restaurants to settle into their new recipes and cooking methods.
New fryers have been purchased for this special to accommodate the epic fillet of fish cooking process.
More to come guys and as always, thank you for your continued support.

Introducing the Sharples Sea Monster.
No I'm not talking about Harlan 🤪
We have decided to bring out a HUGE promotion to get Pattaya talking.
The Sea-Monster is not a tail, its not a loin, it's the WHOLE fillet of cod, ideal for sharing between 3 with over a kilo of chips, 2 sides, 2 sauces, bread and butter.
We will promoting this throughout August, September, October and it's not for the faint hearted.
I would like to thank Michelin Star Chef Harlan Goldstein from the exquisite fine dining 'Harlan's, Welcome Town' for coming down and giving us some pointers and invaluable advice. Be sure to check out his place for a truly high end taste extravaganza.
I'm so excited about the value we can offer all the patrons of Pattaya. Our Thai menu will also be released next week to coincide with this so whole families can enjoy the Sharples Traditional UK Chip Shop experience.
I would also like to thank Chris Kelman , with his guidance we are 'levelling up', more to come guys. Our journey has just begun.
