A scuba diving instructor, working, travelling and taking photos around
3 eels stay in one hole. They were a little insecure when I was filming them, but that was a great experience seeing them staying together, they were a lot less shy and a lot more active when they stay as a team.
I like to give nudibranch nicknames, so this one would be… strawberry pudding 😎😎😎
Lovely seahorse found at Richelieu Rock
Good morning little thing🦋🦋🦋
Lovely night dive along the shore, this little buddy was showing me it’s powerful claws the whole time
Yellow box fish are much cuter when they are young, and the younger the cuter, grandpa yellow box fish are all looking complicated, will update an older one when I get a chance to take a photo of it.
This is not a very clear photo, but it’s definitely one of the best memories of mine, fusilier, travelly, and barracuda groups swam towards each other, what a magical mother nature
This is a resident turtle in the Similan Islands, this is a funny shot, looks just like my mom when she knew I did something wrong. Like…" go home NOW!"
Found this two octopus kinda mating towards the end of my dive, was very fun watching them doing stuff
This is a pretty interesting photo. I was doing my safety stop, and saw this group of long fin batfish swam pass by, you can see most of them in the deeper water were swimming horizontally while the other 2 swimming with normal position in the shallower water. They do swim horizontal to avoid from strong current sometimes, but I'm pretty sure it was a nice calm day. Anyway, amazing mother nature, I really love this picture
This is my first official manta ray, I used to see them in the aquarium and on the surface after the dive, but this one is the first one I saw during the dive. Turned out there were 4 of them at one dive site on that day, some of them even flipped their bellies over to show us how amazing they are, that was a fantastic trip
Sting rays are beautiful. This is Kuhl's stingray, there is a big group of them laying at the sandy bottom in the Similan Islands island No.4. It's cool to see them move around in the early morning
Clown trigger fish is the cutest trigger fish. Different from titan trigger fish, they are smaller and very shy. I used to think the white straps on it's forehead are the eyes, but turns out the black shining spots above the straps are
2 octups were found in the early morning, I'm not sure what exactly they were doing?? 🤔🤔🤔
This big boy is found under a rock during a night dive. There is one arm missing by the time we met, guess that was a tough fight. I used to see them opened up a sea urchin and ate every piece of meat. Not easy to see them during the day though
I'm not very good at taking photos for wide view, but this is a pretty nice one of the chimney. It's a beautiful swim through from 18m bottom depth to 6m top depths. This photo is taken from the bottom on a clear water day. Been diving in Sail Rock for over 1000 times, this is one of my favourite photos taken there.
This is a juvenile honeycomb moray eel, when they grow up, you can even see all the muscles stretching in the throat, they are really beautiful creatures in the ocean.
I really thought they were exactly the same spiece of sponge snail, but turns out they really are not! The blue one is pretty common in Koh Bon, but it's my first time see this red one out from the book. What a magical world
Been working on taking photos for all kinds of sea slugs, this is one of the common flat worms in Thailand, they can move pretty fast if necessary. What a beautiful wild life ❤️
These shining babies are normally hanging close to the surface, it's perfect for safety stop, my customers and I can always have some good time with my torch light and these jellyfish. And the one in the photo really looks like a dancing girl.
This is tomato clown fish, sometimes people don't get why do I show them this normal fish, but I mean they are with nice colour and really don't look like an anemone fish except for they live in the anemone. This little thing is probably not very happy when I took a photo with it, so it split something out from it's mouth, for me, that was a good moment caught
Jellyfish is a very magical creature, some of them can live forever, they are mostly not so friendly to our skin, but they really are beautiful. I had this beauty at the end of the dive during safety stop, that was a quick 3 minutes.
So one of my dream photos was finally done by laying at the bottom for over 20 minutes and missed a lot of cute nudibranch. This is gobby and it's little shrimp buddy. They generally live together, and shrimp make themselves a nice room to stay under the sand. They are both very shy and sensetive to lights and all kinds of water movements. So I had to lay there and wait until they treat my camera and light as a normal day light and natural subject. I've clicked quite a bit until this one popped out. Was a nice dive though.
It's been a while since my last post, but this little buddy is definitely a must post. Frog fish is not very common in Thailand, even we can find one, it's always either in the wrong spot or wrong position to take a photo with. Finally got really good luck to take a nice shot for this one after months since I first saw it, I'm very excited about it.
We call all the turtles in Similan Island "Jackie", and this is one of them. He is a big boy who is very familiar with human, always hanging around a dive site named "West of Eden", swimming around boats and day hi to all the people on board, I did my first turtle snorkeling shoulder to shoulder swim with him, that was a fantastic experience
There is a story behind this picture. While night diving, I was thinking about taking some photos for the Christmas tree worms at night with my new light, see if it's better than taking photos of them in the day time. So I swam straight to the coral and didn't see the poor puffer fish sleep in the middle of the coral. Unfortunately I woke it up by accident and it seems very surprised at the same time. We gave eachother a "what the hell???" face and I got this photo as an extra. Will be more careful next time when I'm diving at night🐡🐡🐡
I was totally in love with these little tiger egg cowire when I first saw them from a fish book, and screamed straight away underwater when I actually saw them in reality. They are just such beautiful tiny creatures 🐚🐚🐚
This is a goast pipefish couple, the daddy has been pregnant for a while, and the mum stays with him all the time. Hope they have their new babies born soon and make me easier to find more around the area
It's been a while since last post, but this gorgeous harlequin shrimp is totally worth waiting. They are pretty but also monsters at the same time, they normally work as a team, cut down star fish foot and eat it. This little buddy was found at Richelieu Rock, and took me quite a while to wait for it stand with a well position. It was quite protective to the star fish foot in its hole the whole time.🦐🦐🦐
Grumpy face eel hiding in soft corals. It was pretty scary to get too close, but the wonderful colour is a very big motivation for me to sneaky a little more closer.
