Above all, it’s about increasing your understanding of who you really are. Yoga supports us to clarify our perception of the world, of other people and of ourselves.
When we see more clearly and know more about our intimate most realities, our yoga practice becomes integrated into our lives. We open our minds to question our reality, our beliefs, our actions and our interactions with others.
We practice postures, mantras and breathing to explore further. Then we reflect, via meditation on what comes up which brings us back to the questioning. The process repeats moving us into spirals of greater awareness.

Here are some of SELF CARE TIPS that aren't you're standard 'drink H20 jargon' ... hope you try them! ✅ Avoid 'powering through' ... it feeds the anxiety further and work is usually not as good in quality. Just STOP and take a break or start again fresh tomorrow. ✅ When you know you're reaching for food for a distraction because you're stressed or don't know what to do with yourself - literally lay the f* down, close your eyes and breath deep belly breaths. Don't look at your phone. ✅ When you feel like you want to scream but can't - scream later (not at anyone though :)). That energy needs to go somewhere and be released somehow. It might not be appropriate in the moment but do not forget it's still trapped inside you ... other options are short micro meditations, chanting mantra internally, breath work, physical activity, hugs, foam roller stretching, dancing, shaking your body, or earthing (barefoot). ✅ Move your body! It doesn't matter how or how long, avoid sitting at your machine all day. Sitting is the new smoking. Take a break every hour to stand up. Most of us are working from home... put a load in wash, prep dinner, dust, hang up clothes, water your plants, put on a face mask. ✅ Phone a friend. It's easy to get connection starved in this digitally enhanced world... scrolling on social media is not the same as real time connection people! If you can't do it in person pick up the phone like we used to and call. FLOWING INTO THE WEEK LIKE . . . Gentle reminder to F L O W even on Monday’s and even on Tuesday’s… does anyone else find themselves more militant on these days besides me? I find myself working the longest hours and at same time very productive but why is this conditioned habit so hard to release? What if I evened out the spread a bit? Got me thinking what else in my life can be a bit ‘smoothed out’ … I’m conscious of my ‘all or none habitual mindset’ and when those behaviors creep in it’s good to observe rather than judge. Is this behavior or pattern serving me? How does it make me feel, act, be? Are there emotions attached - if so what are they? I encourage you to OBSERVE yourself rather than judge yourself this week and see what you find. Try to capture some moments of SPACIOUS AWARENESS even … non-judgement of your thoughts. Video 3: Overcoming Emotional Eating Remember emotional healing requires going through the emotions by sitting with them and observing them with non-judgement. This will most likely be uncomfortable and TAKE TIME, this isn’t a quick fix and there isn't a magical pill. REAL yoga, developing concentration techniques, creating self awareness, clearing blockages once you understand them and love are very important. Creating space for release, practicing radical acceptance, learning to tolerate distress (non-duality), letting go of strong attachments and aversions along with developing new coping skills are all examples. Keep in mind again that this is a PROCESS not an overnight thing. This is why my signature program is six months in duration. That is the minimum amount of time required to create long lasting change and help you through different periods in your life. Over two or three months there might not be anything major but over six months LIFE shows up and having me as a guide, mentor and coach through it all is what creates change. I help you stop repeating the same old unhelpful patterns and behaviors. I give you tools to empower you to SEE and to make different decisions and choices.
