Laurence brings over a decade of yoga teaching experience to our new boutique wellness studio!
It was back in 2002 that Laurence began her yoga
journey through intensive yoga practice at Absolute Yoga Studios in Bangkok, concentrating in Bikram , Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Soon after her arrival in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2010, she took her first 200 teacher training course under Integrated South Pacific Yoga Academy (INSPYA) by Lance Schuler (Byron Bay Australia).
In 2017, she completed her 500 teacher training course in the capital of yoga Rishikesh, India, where she deepened her knowledge in Yoga Therapy, Aryuvedic approach, and the profoundness of the yogic principles.

What is REAL, what is an ILLUSION? 🧐🤔
In a reality that constantly changes it’s hard to know what is real and what is an illusion.
The mind, Maya, that falls victim to patterns and behaviors based on karmic imprints, emotional responses and societal and or family conditioning… these are a few things that make our ability to gauge true reality seem virtually impossible in our lives.
Do you ever ask yourself questions like this 🤔? Contemplation is a key part of an authentic yoga practice🧘🏽♀️ Creating awareness between our thoughts and emotions will help bring clarity which is a key component of a yoga practice.
I find myself asking, is this real? Am I creating drama, am I shaping others opinions based on my own false perceptions? What is my blind spot in this situation or what is the influencing experience driving my opinion, perception or choices that is molding my construct of reality?

Pranayama, or the practice of controlling your breath, is an essential part of yoga. In fact, it is one of the Eight Limbs of Yoga outlined by Patanjali in one of the most influential yoga texts called the Yoga Sutras📚
Pranayama helps us to connect with our breath, calm our minds, and energize our bodies⚡️🧘🏽♀️⚡️
There are many different types of pranayama practices, each with their own unique benefits.
One of the most common pranayama practices is called Ujjayi breath. This involves breathing in and out through the nose, while constricting the throat slightly. Ujjayi breath helps to calm the mind and reduce stress.
Another popular pranayama practice is Kapalbhati breath, which involves forceful exhalations through the nose. This practice helps to energize the body and improve digestion.
Bhramari breath, or bee breath, involves making a humming sound while exhaling. This practice can help to reduce anxiety and calm the mind.
Nadi Shodana pranayama, also known as alternate nostril breathing, involves breathing in through one nostril and out through the other. This practice helps to balance the different energy channels in the body and improve focus.
By incorporating pranayama practices into your yoga practice, you can experience a wide range of benefits for your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
