Introducing the new Deepsea, the first Rolex deep-sea divers’ watch in 18ct yellow gold. Waterproof to a depth of 3,900 metres (12,800 feet), its unidirectional rotatable bezel is fitted with a 60-minute graduated Cerachrom insert in blue ceramic that allows divers to monitor their time underwater. The moulded, recessed graduations and numerals of the Cerachrom insert, as well as the engraved inscriptions on the ring, are coated with yellow gold via PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition). The bezel’s knurled edge offers excellent grip and can be manipulated with ease.

The new Deepsea artfully combines 18ct yellow gold and shades of blue. The compression ring is made from blue ceramic, a technical innovation that marks a new way of integrating this material into the watch case. The helium escape valve, which works to protect the integrity of the watch during decompression, is manufactured in RLX titanium.
