We now have Murat Gulersoy Muzik playing live music here 4 days a week. they are good musicians with a wide range of music and songs, friendly and entertaining. Come along the the Makara bar and see them. You will be made welcome.

Ibo's Cafe Bar is now at the Melisa Hotel which is right on the water just past the fishing harbour. The dartboard is up and the first darts night will be one week today (Next Thursday 28th April). If you want to play/practice at any time come along and see Ibo. Until the sign is changed it is kopru over the door.

Great 4th July here yesterday. We had a special evening. Thank you everyone who came - we hope that you all had a good time too. Thanks again.

Next Saturday is the 4th July. We are thinking of having a special at the bar. Steak-burgers, chili, hot dogs, salads and other assorted goodies. It will help to know roughly how many people are interested. Please let Ibo know if you are. As always the cost will be reasonable but hasn't been worked out yet

Ibo's nautical day off. It was a very good day.

Good time in Ibo's last night the Italian meal was excellent and everyone enjoyed it. The only complaint was there was too much food. The Chocolate Fridge cake, the Apple Cake and the Carrot Cake were all a success. Sorry if you missed it. It was great value.

Reminder - Quiz night Monday. Italian meal Tuesday. Sign up sheet and details at Ibo's now, 25TL. Both should be fun. Come along and join in.

We are planning an Ibo special for the 2nd September. Italian themed with soup, pasta and desserts. Full menu nearer the time when people can say whether they are interested.

Quiz night on the 18th was cancelled as not enough people came to play. The next quiz is scheduled for 1st September.

Everyone at Ibo's was shocked and very saddened to hear about Ian Braby's loss. Debbie died suddenly of a heart problem and all our thoughts and best wishes are with Ian at this difficult time.

Monday 28th July Mexican style meal if people are interested.
Will include Dips and appetisers, a soup (Mexican meatball soup) A choice of Chicken cooked with a hint of chocolate and a little chilli ( traditionally Mexican dish this gives a smooth flavour and a slightly different taste - well worth trying) And / or Beef Enchilladas. Spanish rice and refried beans or chips and as always an assortment of sweets. Please let Ibo know if you are interested so we can decide whether to go ahead. Price will be 25 TL and menu could be subject to slight changes.

There will be :- Refried Bean Dip, Salsa, Devilled Eggs. Tortilla chips
Chilli in a bowl or Chili Dog, BBQ Chicken, maybe an extra
Boston Style Baked beans
Salads – Potato Salad, Creamy Coleslaw, Spicy Coleslaw, Tossed salad.

Variety of Desserts including Carrot Cake, and fruit salad.
