Ottoman Imperial “Bokhcha” made with metallic wiry that showered golden water embroidered on silk velvet fabric. Bokhchas used to bring brand new brides gifts in bokhchas, by covering gifts. After engagement and before hennah ceremony bokhcas bring to bride’s home by groom’s family as tradition that still existing. This bokhcha has an Imperial signuture of existed Sultan of the period that Bokhcha was made. Therefore, probably this one embroidered for one of the significant and famous families.
