A corporate goal for 2024 is to encourage healthier lifestyle choices among employees and to provide them with opportunities to know their health status.
As such, employees were given the opportunity to know their numbers / diabetes status. HbA1C tests were conducted on site by a third party which sparked discussions specifically around blood sugar control tips and generally around healthier lifestyle choices. HbA1C tests measures the control of your blood sugar levels over a period of 60-90 days. The results will indicate if a person has diabetes, is Pre-Diabetic or is normal.

Hummingbird Drones and Robotics Services Limited (HDRSL) had the pleasure of displaying one of our drones to the students of Princes Town Presbyterian School No. 1 for their career day today.

Starting off with our creative Deck-the-Door competition.

May was Mental Health month at HHSL Safety Systems Limited. A Mental Health Awareness Campaign was launched to increase Mental Health literacy among employees which was ultimately intended to provide employees with the knowledge and techniques to attain and sustain Mental Health well-being and live more meaningful lives. This Campaign began with a stimulating and exciting Mental Health session facilitated by a Psychologist. A classroom was converted into a Day Spa, and employees had the opportunity to be pampered by an Esthetician. Hand, Head, and Neck Massages were provided in a relaxing aromatic-filled environment. The Campaign ended with a Mindfulness and Wellness session where employees discovered the power of Mindfulness and Breathwork / Meditation and its ability to reduce stress, increase focus and improve overall well-being.

Saturday and the Valaris and EL Dorado Offshore crews are getting an adrenalin rush as they enter HHSL's Interior Fire Simulator to battle a Flash Over fire while attempting to rescue persons in the Upstairs accommodation module while under breathing air.

Great job guys as this exercise is not a walk in the park and could be quite intimidating as you battle the fire then search in the dark and smoke (cosmetic) filled rooms for victims .

Woodside Energy Offshore Crews Train with HHSL Safety Systems Limited

Congrats to the Woodside Energy Crew who participated and successfully completed a gruelling Advanced Fire Fighting program this week.

One of the modules of the Advanced Fire Training is SCBA Operations and personnel must demonstrate competence before they're allowed to undertake training exercises using SCBA's.

Thus far for 2023, HHSL Safety Systems Limited has trained crews from BPTT, Woodside Energy, PPGPL, Valaris , EOG, Kenson and EL Dorado Offshore in Fire and Emergency Response Programs thus affirming competence of their personnel to respond if needed.

When it comes to Fire and Emergency Response Training, HHSL Safety Systems Limited is the preferred choice of all the major Upstream and Downstream Operators here in Trinidad.

Another safely executed Drone Aerial Survey

Rectrix Drone Services Limited has just completed another well planned and safely executed Aerial Survey for POWERGEN in Port of Spain.

Client requested a survey of the Cooling Water Outfall Channel as part of their Decommissioning process of the Power Station.

Sounds simple right ? Quarter mile (1/4) water course surrounded by High Voltage Lines, Transformers, Silos, Gantry Cranes, Buildings and Vultures to name a few , were some of the risks that had to be mitigated.

Site Assessment, Risk Assessment, Pre-Flight Planning, RF Signal Analysis, Weather check, Communication checks, Security checks, Flight Plan filed, activated & closed, Pre-Take off, Take Off, en-route and Landing checks are just some of what our crews do on all our Drone flights.

Our Crew consists of the the designated Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) , a Sensor Operator(SO) and for today's job due to the many obstacles and distance to be covered, a Remote Visual Observer (VO) was stationed at the very end of the waterway that leads to the sea in order to maintain Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) with our DJI M300 RTK and Comms with the RPIC . Another day in the Office 👍
