Congratulations to Trinidad and Tobago's Track Cyclists on their stellar performance at the 2024 Junior Pan American Track Cycling Championships in Peru! 🚴🏽‍♂️

Our talented five-member team brought home an impressive total of 8 medals – 4 silver and 4 bronze! 🥈🥉

Leading the charge was Makaira 'Maki' Wallace, who earned three medals, including a bronze in the Women's Keirin! She also captured silver in both the Women’s 500-metre Time Trial and the Women’s Sprint event! 🌟

Our other medalists include:
- Jadian Neaves - 🥉 Omnium, 🥉 Points Race
- Dannel James - 🥉 Keirin
- Jelani Nedd - 🥈 Sprint
- Dannel James, Jelani Nedd & Syndel Samaroo - 🥈 Team Sprint

Overall, Team TTO showed tremendous heart and talent, finishing fourth on the medal chart with their remarkable eight-medal haul! 🏆

Our cyclists have began their second day quest for medals.

Makaira Wallace first up today in the 200m Qualfiying sprint round. She qualified with the 2nd fastest time and moves into the next 1 to 8 round.
