Sight words are those common words like "the" "and" that children often encounter in texts. Knowing these words by sight, without having to sound them out, allows children to focus on understanding what they're reading, which is so important for their overall reading development.
In this video, Mia and I walk you through my fun and engaging approach to mastering sight words! 🎶 We start by learning them through catchy songs that help children remember with rhythm and melody. Then, we break down the words to learn how to spell them correctly, making it easier for little learners to recognize them at a glance.
But that's not all! We add an element of fun by turning learning into a game that kids will love, turning practice into playtime! 🤸🏾♂️ With daily repetition, these words become second nature, and with periodic reviews, we ensure they stick for the long term!

🤩Lets talk about why we praise children for their good work and why literacy is sooo important!!!! Praise 🎊builds up a child's self-esteem and confidence. We are teaching the children how to think and speak positively about themselves by using praise. We are teaching the children how to recognize and appreciate their accomplishments. 🌟🎉You can praise children of various ages for various accomplishments.🎊 By imparting literacy to students, we are laying the groundwork for modern life and enabling them to communicate clearly and effectively. Ineffective readers struggle to comprehend key ideas, perform poorly on tests, and ultimately fall short of academic milestones, AT BRIGHT MINDS LEARNING ACADEMY we are making sure that all our students gain excellent literacy skills🧨🎉🎉

🌟Good night, some parents requested reading videos, which I thought was a fantastic idea. Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body, therefore I've been recording some of my students' reading over the last few weeks for you all to see!
