On this day 68 years ago, the Trinidad and Tobago Society of Architects (T.T.S.A.) was founded to uphold the standards of architecture and the code of professional conduct under which it is practised, and to protect the public from inferior building.

The founding members were Architects-A.J. Prior, Anthony C. Lewis, Ferdinand Lourenco, Peter Bynoe and Colin Laird (All Deceased) and consisted then of 24 members. Membership has grown to 169 full members today.

For the last couple weeks this handsome fellow has been in our yard - the boundary wall and garden - crowing his joy of life. This morning he greeted us strutting in the car park, then seeming to guard our entrance. May be time to invite him to be a Team member. Should we name him?
