10 LESSONS FROM RICH DAD POOR DAD BY ROBERT KIYOSAKI

1. Manage your money:

Many people are able to make money, but not everyone learns how to manage it properly.

Financial intelligence starts with learning the difference between assets and liabilities.
ensure that you have more money coming in than going out, which is what will make you richer.

2. Pay Yourself First:

Most people earn and spend their salary paying bills.

A rich person always pays himself.

Invest in
- Courses
- Books
- Experiences

3. Saving and investing are different:

Saving is considered a must and a good habit.

You need to invest your money instead where it grows at a higher rate than inflation.

Saving weaken the purchasing power while investment will increase the value of your money.

4. Learn taxes:

If you are rich and lack financial literacy, you will end up paying a lot of taxes.

The rich have their investments often in learning, so they have to pay fewer taxes.

You need to have financial IQ in different areas like accounting, investing, market forces, and the law.

5. Do not rely on a single source of income:

Most people rely on a single source of income.

You can never become rich and financially secure if you are one of those.

You should have 2 to 3 streams from where you earn money.

You will be in better position even if you face some financial crisis if you have multiple income streams.

6. you become smarter by taking risk:

Unless you take a risk, you cannot grow, grow as in grow really big.

You should take a risk because some opportunities in life have the potential to change the course of your life.

7. Everyone needs to be a financially literate:

Intelligence solves problems and produces money.

Money without financial intelligence is money soon gone.

The sad part about the education system around the world is that it teaches to work for money.

The system never teaches how to make, manage, and keep the money.

You should learn how to create wealth and make a plan to achieve financial freedom.

8. Mindset is everything:

Poor dad always used to say” we can’t afford this “whereas rich dad teaches him to replace it with “how you can afford it?”.

In This way, replace your negative attitude into positive and you will definitely find ways to do achieve that target.

Your attitude and mindset matters the most.

The first and foremost thing to do anything is that you must believe in yourself.

9. Surround yourself with people smarter than you:

There is a very popular saying ‘If you are the smartest person in the room, then you are in the wrong room.’

If you want to be smart, surround yourself with people smarter than you.

10. Control emotions:

The situation only gets worse for you when you are not able to control your emotions.

The statement holds good for both personal and professional life situations.

You should learn to control your emotional balance and be focused on accomplishing your financial goals.

Client: I don't need HMO because I already have VUL insurance and I am paying the CIB and HIB rider as well.
IMG Educator: That's good to hear maam/sir. But let me share some inputs if it's ok.
🎯HMO covers all kinds of illnesses. Every time you get hospitalized for whatever reason, it pays the bill. Recommended.
🎯CIB (Critical Illness Benefit) is good because it prepares us for the worst. But you can only use this if your health issue is on the critical illness list. Meaning, you can't claim if it's just a simple migraine or headache. It needs to be a "brain tumor" in order for you to get covered.
🎯HIB (Hospital Income Benefit) is also good because it provides daily allowance during the insured's stay in the hospital. Normally around 1,000 or 2,000 per day depending on the premium you're paying. Let's just say you don't have an HMO, only HIB, you've been hospitalized due to severe diarrhea, you stayed in the hospital for 4 days but your bill is 50k because of the antibiotics, room and board, doctor's fees and other fees. HIB only covers 4k or 8k then. How about the remaining 46k? How can it help?
Client: Really? I didn't know that. I didn't read my policy.
IMG Educator: I'm not saying that you terminate your riders. I'm saying you need to understand what are those for. What are the limitations and how to fill those gaps in? No need to choose. Get them all if you can.
This is a concept our organization, IMG, is sharing to the community.

10 Rules of Ikigai To Help You Live a Long and Happy Life

1. Take is Slow: Being in a hurry is inversely proportional to quality of life. Just take it easy on yourself. As the old saying goes: “Walk slowly and you’ll go far.” When we leave urgency behind, life and time take on new meaning. Don’t try to figure everything out, sleep on the questions you still have no answers to.

2. Surround yourself with good friends. Friends are the best medicine. Recognize your “level one” friends and give them the attention you deserve. They are there to confide worries over a good chat, share stories that brighten your day, get advice, have fun, dream… and in other words, live. Also, ensure to hug your loved ones regularly.

3. Stay active; don’t retire. Those who give up on the things they love doing and do well lose their purpose in life. That’s why it is important to keep doing things of value, making progress, bringing beauty or utility to others, helping out, and shaping the world around you, even after your “official” professional activity has ended.

4. Get in shape for your next birthday. Water moves; it is at its best when it flows fresh and doesn’t stagnate. The body you move through life in needs a bit of daily maintenance to keep it running for a long time. Plus, exercise releases hormones that make us feel better.

5. Smile: A cheerful attitude is not only relaxing – it also helps make friends. It’s good to recognize the things that aren’t so great, but we should never forget what a privilege it is to be in the here and now in a world so full of possibilities.

6. Reconnect with nature. Though most people live in cities these days, human beings are made to be part of the natural world. We should return to it often to recharge our batteries.

7. Give thanks. To your ancestors, to nature which provides you with the air you breathe and the food you eat, to your friends and family, to everything that brightens your days and makes you feel lucky to be alive. Spend a moment every day giving thanks, and you will watch your stockpile of happiness grow.

8. Live in the moment. Stop regretting the past and fearing the future. Today is all you have. Make the most of it. Make it worth remembering.

9. Don’t fill your stomach. Less is more when it comes to eating for a long life. According to the 80 percent rules, in order to stay healthier longer, we should eat a little less than our hunger demands instead of stuffing ourselves.

10. Follow you ikigai. There is a passion inside you, a unique talent that gives meaning to your days and drives you to share the best of yourself until the very end. If you don’t know what your Ikigai is yet, as Victor Frankl says, your mission is to discover..

If someone invites you to start a business, join the business, even if you don't know how to do it yet. Be patient and learn the process,👨‍💻 gradually and relentlessly. Remain there even if it takes you five years to be successful in it, because... when the benefits begin to flow, you will NEVER be the same person ever again!🙂

People don't have the patience to build a business for 3 years. But... they have the patience to go to work for 40 years!😔

10 Lessons from Stillness Is the Key

1. Slow Down and Think Deeply: Break free from the constant mental chatter and engage in deeper reflection. Take time for introspection and deliberate thinking on the big questions in life.

2. Limit Your Inputs: Constantly bombarding yourself with information and external stimuli creates noise and hinders clarity. Be selective about what you consume and seek moments of quiet, undistracted thought.

3. Choose Virtue: Cultivate moral and civic excellence as guiding principles. Focus on qualities like honesty, courage, kindness, and patience, building a strong internal compass.

4. Conquer Your Anger: Don't let anger dictate your actions and decision-making. Learn to manage your emotions and respond calmly, fostering inner peace and clarity.

5. Start Journaling: Pen down your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Journaling serves as a conduit for self-discovery, processing emotions, and clarifying goals.

6. Cultivate Gratitude: Appreciate the present moment and what you have instead of dwelling on what you lack. Develop a thankful heart and find joy in the simple things.

7. Practice Enoughness: Recognize that striving for "more" often leads to dissatisfaction and restlessness. Learn to be content with your current situation and find fulfillment within.

8. Focus on Giving: Shift your perspective from taking to giving. Find ways to contribute to others and experience the profound joy of service and generosity.

9. Find Your Calling: Discover your unique purpose and align your actions with it. Pursue work that is meaningful and resonates with your passions.
