【人一醫療於韓國全南大學成功舉辦內視鏡實作研討會】

我們於2024年10月23日在韓國光州全南大學獸醫系舉辦了內視鏡小型實作研討會。

此次實作研討會主要介紹內視鏡在獸醫診療中的應用，並深入講解了其功能與優勢，並讓學生能親自操作並了解內視鏡的應用。

研討會分為基本介紹與實際操作兩個部分。

一開始的介紹中，人一醫療的團隊為學生們詳細介紹了內視鏡在獸醫領域的廣泛應用，並強調其在動物檢查中的精確性和安全性。

實作環節由Woong-Bin Ro教授親自示範，帶領學生進行胃部及鼻腔的探查，學生們隨後也親自操作，感受內視鏡的實際應用。

透過親自操作，學生們能夠更加直觀地了解內視鏡的使用方法和技巧，並體驗到其優勢。

此次研討會旨在提升學生們對內視鏡技術的認識，讓他們對未來獸醫工作中的精密檢查工具有更深入的理解。

我們也衷心感謝Woong-Bin Ro教授，讓我們有機會到全南大學舉辦小型工作坊。也謝謝教授在當日的寶貴幫助及指導。

The One Medical is honored to participate in a lecture hosted by Dr.林依儒 from Feather Forest Animal Hospital at the Asia University, Taiwan Veterinary Teaching Center. Dr. Lin shared insights into avian veterinary training and clinical cases, showcasing the use of flexible endoscopes for avian gastric examination. Students from Asia University also had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the endoscope, deepening their understanding of this essential medical tool.

2024.08.13 The One Medical Supports Endoscope Workshop at VALC, Malaysia

The One Medical recently provided endoscope equipment for a successful video-oto-endoscopy workshop at theVeterinary Advanced Learning Center (VALC) in Malaysia. Led by Dr. Li Han Hsu, the workshop, held on August 13-14, focused on enhancing precision in ENT diagnosis and treatment.

Common issues such as suspected ruptured eardrums, chronic otitis, and the removal of polyps or tumors can be thoroughly examined and treated with greater accuracy through video-oto-endoscopy.

Bronchoscopic Bronchoalveolar Lavage BAL

Bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) involves instilling sterile saline into the distal airways and retrieving the fluid for sampling. It is a crucial diagnostic tool for animals with respiratory issues. However, BAL carries risks of respiratory symptom exacerbation during or after the procedure due to its invasive nature, as fluid is introduced into the gas-exchanging alveoli.
Traditionally, BAL is performed via "blind lavage," where the affected side is positioned downward, relying on gravity to direct fluid into the target lung lobe. Recent advancements in bronchoscopy allow for more targeted sampling, improving fluid recovery rates and sample depth. Studies show that bronchoscopy-assisted BAL offers better fluid retrieval and deeper sample collection compared to the blind method.
Whether performing traditional BAL or bronchoscopy-assisted BAL, airway maintenance is recommended. The purpose of airway maintenance is to ensure continuous oxygen supply via endotracheal intubation or a laryngeal mask and to provide positive pressure ventilation if spontaneous breathing ceases. Research indicates a significant difference in post-procedure complications and mortality rates depending on whether airway maintenance is employed. In the author's experience, performing BAL without airway maintenance often results in significant hypoxemia, making recovery post-anesthesia more challenging. However, with airway maintenance and bronchoscopy, animals maintain better oxygenation during BAL and have smoother recovery.
Therefore, even in traditional BAL without bronchoscopy, it is advisable to use airway maintenance with an adapter for added safety.

支氣管灌洗 (bronchoalveolar lavage, 簡稱BAL)，是將無菌生理食鹽水注入呼吸道後，回收液體進行檢體採樣的技術，常用於診斷呼吸道問題。這項技術具侵入性，可能在過程中或之後引發呼吸道症狀惡化。
傳統上，BAL是透過「盲灌」方式進行，藉助重力讓液體流入指定肺葉。近年來，支氣管鏡的發展使灌洗更精準，能提高液體回收率並深入異常部位採樣。
無論是傳統還是使用支氣管鏡輔助的BAL，都建議進行氣道維持，以提供氧氣供應及正壓輔助換氣。研究顯示，氣道維持能顯著減少併發症與死亡率，並降低麻醉後的低血氧風險，提升動物恢復情況。即使不使用支氣管鏡，也建議在傳統灌洗時配合氣道維持以增加安全性。

Endoscopic examination combined with ear canal irrigation allows for the removal of secretions within the ear canal. The use of an endoscope enables a more thorough inspection, sampling, and cleansing of the ear canal, and facilitates tympanocentesis to assess and treat middle ear diseases. By clearing these secretions, pressure on the facial nerve can be alleviated, reducing the risk of associated neurological complications.

✨ We had an incredible time presenting our products at IVECCS 2024!
2024.09.08-09.10 The One Medical showcased our All In One Series at the IVECCS 2024 International Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Symposium at America‘s Center Convention Complex, St. Louis, and the top three that garnered the most attention are:
(1) Esophageal Rigid Electronic Endoscope with Foreign Body Forceps
(2) Multipurpose Rigid Electronic Endoscope
(3) Portable Veterinary Endoscope - Single Use

These products stood out because veterinarians found them incredibly convenient to use, praised their high-definition images, and appreciated the user-friendly operation.

Especially the Esophageal Foreign Body Forceps, which can assist veterinarians in the U.S. with large dogs and cats. This tool helps them confirm the presence of foreign bodies on the screen and observe the condition of the esophagus. One veterinarian shared with us a case where she couldn’t identify or remove a foreign object, so she had to push it into the stomach. When she saw our Esophageal Foreign Body Forceps, she was amazed and couldn‘t stop praising it!The veterinary professionals who visited our booth were truly impressed with the versatility and precision of our tools, and we were thrilled to see such positive reactions. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and showed such great interest in our products. We’re excited to continue supporting the veterinary field with our advanced technology!

我們很榮幸在2024年國際獸醫急救與重症護理研討會（IVECCS）展示我們的熱門產品！

人一醫療於聖路易斯會展中心9月8日至9月10日的 IVECCS 2024 國際獸醫急救與重症護理研討會上展出了All in One 全系列的產品，其中最受歡迎的前三名是：

(1)食道異物鉗 (2)多功能電子鏡 (3) 一次性便攜內視鏡
操作上不但很方便以外，還同時具有高清的畫質，使用起來非常的順手，這就是為什麼這些產品們會受到獸醫師們如此喜愛的原因!

尤其是食道異物鉗，在美國有許多大型犬貓，這款食道異物鉗可以幫助獸醫師們透過螢幕確認異物、也能觀察食道的情況。當場就有獸醫師跟我們分享她遇到的食道異物案例，他們無法辨別異物，也無法取出來，只能把異物推至胃内。也因此當這位獸醫師看到我們的食道異物鉗電子內視鏡時，當下驚呼連連並且愛不釋手~

來參觀的獸醫們對我們產品的多功能性和精確度讚不絕口，我們也很高興看到這麼多熱烈的回應。感謝在會展上每一位獸醫師們的支持，也有好幾位來自台灣的醫生表示很滿意並且會大力支持我們的產品，期待繼續用我們的先進技術助力獸醫領域的發展！

2025.09.04 We were thrilled to visit the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Colorado State University. During our visit, the veterinarians expressed great interest in our 2.8mm portable endoscope for animals and the 12.1-inch monitor. After knowing about their needs, we promptly decided to donate this endoscopic equipment to the veterinary teaching hospital.

The small diameter of the endoscope impressed the veterinarians, and they were particularly excited about its effortless ability to achieve a dual 180-degree bending angle.

They couldn’t wait to use our endoscope for related surgeries, and the doctors generously shared many cases where endoscopes could be utilized for procedures and examinations. We believe our 2.8mm Portable Veterinary Endoscope will significantly benefit the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Colorado State University.

Other doctors stopped by to watch as we demonstrated our equipment like 3.5-inch monitor, multipurpose rigid electronic endoscope, esophageal rigid electronic endoscope with foreign body forceps, and single-use portable veterinary endoscope, all of which drew their admiration.

We are delighted to collaborate with such a prestigious medical institution and look forward to how this donation will enhance veterinary care and precision diagnostics in the future.

2024年9月4日我們很高興能拜訪美國科羅拉多州立大學的獸醫教學醫院，在我們拜訪的期間，獸醫師們對於我們的2.8mm的重複性動物便攜式內視鏡以及 12.1 吋螢幕非常有興趣，在了解後，我們隨即決定捐贈這套內視鏡器材給獸醫教學醫院。

除了小尺寸的外徑讓醫師們驚訝外，豪不費力的能達到雙向180度的彎曲角度，都讓他們迫不及待想要拿這套內視鏡做相關手術，醫生們也不吝嗇地與我們分享許多能用內視鏡完成手術/檢查的案例，相信這套內視鏡能對科羅拉多州立大學的獸醫教學醫院帶來不少的幫助。
