大家好，近期來店的毛小孩越來越多啦，Cozy Quail展開小翅膀歡迎每位毛孩的到來，為了維護用餐環境的衛生，並保護每位客人的權益，針對寵物友善的部分希望毛拔毛麻們務必配合：

🐾毛孩入店請繫牽繩並著禮貌帶
🐾無牽繩與禮貌帶請裝籠或使用推車
🐾若無禮貌帶可向櫃檯購買（$10）

注意事項
無牽繩、無裝籠或推車，與拒絕使用禮貌帶的飼主，若發生毛孩隨地便溺或破壞環境與傢俱的狀況，將視損壞情形酌收$500至$2000清潔整理費

加州鵪鶉小知識：
鵪鶉媽媽每年生產2次，每次12-16顆蛋，經過23天左右的孵化期，鵪鶉寶寶會在媽媽的照顧和爸爸的保護下長大，約3至4週的時間；寶寶孵化後，一部分的加州鵪鶉會和鄰近的其他家庭組成一個小型社會，大家一起照顧寶寶們至離巢。

California Quail Fun Fact:
A California quail hen reproduces up to twice a year, laying 12-16 eggs each time. After an incubation period of around 23 days, the chicks grow up under the care of their mother and the protection of their father, for about 3 to 4 weeks. After hatching, California quails often join nearby families to form a small community, collectively caring for the babies until they leave the nest.

這是一個關於布朗尼的故事

客人：你怎麼會想到要開咖啡廳呀？
🐦：因為我找不到好吃的布朗尼

正確來說，是找不到一塊正統又好吃的Fudgy Brownie。

走訪多年，只吃到了巧克力蛋糕，巧克力磅蛋糕，巧克力鬆糕，巧克力發糕（？），一直沒有在市面上找到我最喜歡的，那種只黏你口不黏你手的巧克力布朗尼，最接近的大概是Fridays甜死人不償命冰火三重奏。

印象裡的Brownie，紮實沒有空洞，外表焦脆像餅乾，中心濕潤黏牙，介於太妃糖和牛軋糖之間的口感，每咬一口都如同一顆巧克力手榴彈在嘴裡炸開的濃郁香味，那種既粗糙又精緻的衝突，是只屬於我週末罪惡時光最完美的結尾。

不對，都不對。

直到有天和朋友聊起，她說：那你幹嘛不自己做？

對啊！我為什麼不自己做呢？最簡單的版本只要1小時就能讓我滿足自己的口腹之慾，有什麼比一屋子的可可香氣和一盤熱燙燙的的布朗尼更令人垂涎的？大概只有肉桂了吧，但那是下次的故事了。

於是，從一顆蛋，一袋二砂，一桶麵粉，一盒Hershey’s可可粉，還有一塊Costco那時還算物美價廉的的奶油，我踏上了這個旅程。

現在店裡的招牌焦鹽黏黏布朗尼雖然唸著拗口，是希望完整表達出這個甜點的層次；經過了無數次的試驗調整，終於成為了最能代表Cozy Quail的布朗尼，焦糖化天然無鹽奶油，迦納可可粉與巧克力，撒上核桃、胡桃與海鹽片，經過48小時的靜置、烘烤與融合。

A quest for the perfect brownie.

Customer: What made you start a café?
🐦: Because I couldn’t find a good brownie.

To be precise, a truly scrumptious Fudgy Brownie

For years, I scoured bakeries for that ideal Fudgy Brownie, but all I found were various chocolate cakes.

The brownie in my memories was a dense block, crispy on the outside like a cookie, moist and sticky in the center, exploding with intense chocolate flavor with every bite. The rough yet delicate conflict that was the perfect ending to my cheat days.

No, not even close.

Until one day, a friend suggested: “Why not make it yourself?” Yes, why the heck not?! What could be better than a piping hot pan of brownies filling my house with the chocolaty breeze? Well, cinnamon probably. But that’s a story for another day.

And so, armed with eggs, sugar, flour, Hershey’s cocoa powder, and butter, I embarked on this journey.

Now, at Cozy Quail, our crispy yet chewy brownies, made with brown butter, Ghana cocoa, and sprinkled with walnuts, pecans, and flaky sea salt, are the ultimate indulgence. Each batch rests and melds for 48 hours, ensuring a decadent explosion of chocolate flavor in every bite.
