The 2024 RISC-V Taipei Day was held along with DVCon Taiwan 2024 from September 10 - 11. The event featured speakers representing local and international industry experts who shared their insights on the trends and developments of RISC-V over the years. One of the speakers was Lu Dai, the Chairman of RISC-V International who highlighted how RISC-V's flexible, open ISA is ideal for applications due to its customizable architecture, which supports specialized algorithms and intellectual property protection. Projections suggest that by 2030, over 50% of AI chips will use RISC-V, fueled by its adaptability and global support.
