【國際人力資源發展研究所 新卸任所長交接典禮】
本所於7月20日舉行新卸任所長交接典禮，原任林怡君所長，將於113年8月1日始由盧承杰副教授接任
感謝林怡君所長任職的4年期間盡心盡力，協助系所大小事務
並期許新任所長上任後能延續IHRD的精神，共創優良學術及學習環境

[Handover Ceremony between Incoming and Outgoing IHRD Directors]
The NTNU Graduate Institute of International Human Resource Development (IHRD) held a handover ceremony between its outgoing and incoming Directors on July 20 at Conference Room. Former Director Yi-Chun Lin left her position on July 31. Beginning on August 1, Associate Professor Cheng-Chieh Lu succeeded to become the new IHRD Director.

🎊We are proud of Nattapon Aunhabundit from Thailand, who has been awarded the NTNU outstanding students, and receiving the award on the 102nd Anniversary of NTNU!

She is also the first international student to receive the award✨

Speech title: Crossing Cultures with Podcasts
Speaker: Dr. Eva Tsai (Graduate Institute of Mass Communication, NTNU)

After the pandemic in 2019, the emergence of podcasts has become a powerful medium for connecting with people worldwide. To understand the tools and technology for podcast production, at the end of the semester, Dr. Chang led students to visit a professional podcast recording lab. The lab host, Professor Eva Tsai from the Graduate Institute of Mass Communication at NTNU, explained the podcast production process, shared the challenges and joys encountered during podcast production, and introduced useful tools involved in the process. This visit enriched us with valuable knowledge and insights for podcast applications.

In this rapidly changing world, the use of new forms of communication has become increasingly important. Especially for managers and HR professionals in multinational companies, learning to use new technology (e.g., podcasts, AI) can help convey messages to a more diverse audience.

疫情爆發後的2019年，Podcast的大量興起成為了一種連接全球人群的強大媒介。為了瞭解Podcast 製作的科技與工具，學期末時，張教授帶領學生參觀了一個專業的podcast錄音實驗室。專業錄音室的主持人是國立臺灣師範大學大眾傳播研究所的蔡如音教授。她向學生們解釋了podcast 製作過程，分享在podcast製作中遇到的挑戰和樂趣，並介紹在過程中常用的工具，令參與活動的師生收獲滿滿。

在這個快速變化的世界中，運用新型態的溝通方法變得愈加重要。特別是對於跨國公司的管理者和人力資源專業人士來說，學習使用新科技(例如，Podcast, AI )更能有助於把訊息傳達給更多元及廣泛的群眾。

We are proud to announce that our students-Lhenie and Caesar have been awarded the TaiwanICDF Academic Performance Incentives!

As a graduate student who is constantly looking for opportunities to grow, I can't emphasize the importance of capitalizing on such opportunities when they present themselves! I had the unique privilege to join the Fulbright IEA contingent at my home university alongside my professor and director of IHRD and connect with several educators who may have never even visited Taiwan before now.

The skillsets, experience and genuine passion for education presented by each educator served not only as another bridge connecting the U.S. and Taiwan, but also as a foundation to keep pushing global education forward and strive to innovate how we teach others.

I am grateful to have taken part in this event and look forward to facing this bright future alongside my department!

We are glad to have Dr. Russ to talk about how to do qualitative research on 19 Dec. He has abundant experiences in both academic and business field.

During the lecture, he shared the end to end process of qualitative research, including from ideation to identify the real problem and framing the research question, he also gave many useful tips and real cases from his experience. His detailed explanation and guidance helped us to have deeper understanding of doing research, I have clearer picture in mind of how to start my own research after his sharing.

I really learnt a lot from Dr. Russ, thank you for coming to IHRD to give us the wonderful speech.

On December 12, 2023, the Graduate Institute of International Human Resources Development, National Taiwan Normal University, visited the headquarters of O'right, a well-known hair and skin care brand in Taiwan. O'right has always upheld the principle of "symbiosis between human and nature", and combined it with his own experiences to share with students how to develop ESG in R&D, production, packaging and consumption, and even organizational and talent development on sustainability and prosperity.

Through the visit, the students had a deeper understanding of O'right, and they hope that they can partake in the promotion of sustainable management of corporate talents and contribute to the protection of the environment in the future.

In the afternoon, we also visited Sanxia Old Street to experience traditional Taiwanese culture and indigo dyeing. Everyone put great effort into creating their indigo-dyed artworks, marking the perfect conclusion to this enriching journey.

2023 年 12 月 12 日，國立臺灣師範大學國際人力資源發展研究所師生前往臺灣知名髮膚保養品牌 O'right 歐萊德總部參訪，歐萊德一直以來都秉持「人與自然共生」的理念，並結合自身經驗與同學分享如何將 ESG在研發生產、包裝消費、甚至組織與人才發展等環節皆力求永續共榮。

學生們表示透過參訪活動，他們對歐萊德有更深入的認識，也期許自己未來能成為推動企業人才永續經營的一份子，為環境土地盡一份心力。

在下午我們也來到三峽老街體驗台灣傳統文化及藍染，大家都很用心的完成自己的藍染作品，並為這趟參訪旅程畫下完美句點。

On December 11, 2023, it is a great honor to welcome President Lin, Chairperson of Synera Renewable Energy Co., Ltd., to deliver his valuable speech on the topic 'On the Cutting Edge: The Development of the Offshore Wind Industry and Talent Requirements' to students at the Institute of Human Resource Development (IHRD) in the Human Resource Development class.

Globally, green energy is a necessary production factor to enter the international market, as it potentially addresses environmental issues, promotes sustainable development, and contributes to a more resilient and equitable energy future. In Taiwan, offshore wind and solar power will be the most important source of Taiwan’s renewable energy correspondance with ‘Taiwan’s 2050 Renewable Energy Plan’.

On November 27, 2023, Jessy Huang, Human Senior Specialist at Chailease, was invited by Professor Wei-Wen Chang to the Human Resource Development class to share her valuable experience on the topic of 'Talent Development Strategy: How Focus Makes Magic.'

Welcome Ruby Zenteno (鄭瑞寶) to join the IHRD program🎉.
Ruby obtains 2023-2024 Fulbright-NTNU Master’s Degree Program Awards.
Dr. Yi-chun Jane Lin, the Director of IHRD, is her host during her study. Dr. Lin was also awarded the Senior Research Fulbright Grant, visiting scholar at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 2019-2020. Both of them are invited to attend the Fulbright welcome party hold by Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (Fulbright Taiwan).

We are looking forward more Fulbrighters to joining our program!!
