🌟 Good preparation: Choose a route that matches your children's age and abilities. Allow plenty of time for the tour and let your child walk on their own.

🌲 Explore the world together: Look for a hiking stick together, balance on a tree trunk, or hide behind bushes. Your creativity knows no bounds. Just ensure variety on your hike.

👭 Together is more fun: Hike with other children, because it's just more fun together.

🍎 Breaks & snacks: Plan plenty of breaks, even more than when you're alone. Ice cream or a picnic in nature make for a small highlight during breaks.

👟 The right equipment: Choose comfortable and weatherproof clothing, preferably in layers. Sunscreen and a sun hat should never be forgotten.

🥾 Choosing the right shoes: The right shoes are essential for any hike. A good pair of children's shoes is worth it.

We are deeply saddened and can hardly believe it. Our athlete Martin Feistl, whom we had the privilege of experiencing as an exceptional sportsman in the LOWA PRO Team, has died in a tragic climbing accident in Tyrol.

Martin Feistl was a mountaineer through and through. Growing up near Lake Ammersee, southwest of Munich, he was not drawn to water sports, which might be more typical for his hometown. Instead, he felt at home in the diverse world of climbing. Whether it was ice climbing, sport climbing, in alpine regions, or on expeditions with climbing partners, he was always passionate about it.
In his first ascents and expeditions, sustainability was always at the forefront. Martin had great ideas and visions for environmentally friendly climbing, far from cars or planes, always in harmony with nature.

Our heartfelt condolences and deep sympathy go out to his family, friends, and all loved ones. We wish them much strength in this difficult time.
We will always remember Martin as an ambitious, joyful athlete and person

Sunny Stroeer, LOWA USA Pro Athlete, becomes the first woman to conquer the Iditarod Trail Invitational on skis!
She covered the 950 miles in 29 days, 22 hours, 6 minutes, finishing on Tuesday, March 26 in Nome, enduring brutal temperatures as low as -45 degrees.
