As our crew follow and control all agriculture stuff in Ukraine so to the end off summer 2020 situation with some crops became crytical. During all my 37 years life I was close to growing, cultivating and harvesting agriculture plants. But I had never seen picture as in video where thermophilic culture from the tropics like corn became dry on main ripening phase in country that have best agriculture climate in Universe...

From about the end of winter 2019 to the end of spring 2020, drought was observed on the territory of Ukraine. It was expressed in a limited precipitation of atmospheric moisture throughout the specified period. The result of such events was an insufficient crop of ground vegetables in quantity and quality, which affected the high prices of the main vegetables during the winter-spring 2019/2020.
However, in 2019, Ukraine set a new record for the number of harvested grain, namely 74 million tons.
Autumn 2019 and spring 2020 turned out to be very arid, which caused extreme concern among farmers and the Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine. Due to the protracted drought, forecasts for a grain harvest of 2020 were corrected downward, which in turn could negatively affect a large sector of the Ukrainian economy.
But mother nature eventually took pity on our country and from the beginning of May to the beginning of June 2020 throughout the territory of Ukraine, including the Crimean Peninsula, the long-awaited heavy rains fell during the growing season and the formation of plants, which ultimately led to widespread violent growth and the formation of healthy shoots, which in turn will give a large and, more importantly, high-quality crop of such major crops as wheat, corn, barley, rye, sunflower, peas, soy, and also potatoes.

Flour export shipment crossed 240 thousand tons.

Since the start of 2019/20 Marketing Year, flour export from Ukraine has reached 241.9 thousand tons, 80 thousand tons (49%) more from the prior year's comparative indicator, (161.9 thousand tons)

Exports reached the following indicators:

wheat flour — 240.6 thousand tons (up 79.6 thousand tons from the comparative period of 2018/19);
other types of flour — 1.3 thousand tons (up 0.4 thousand tons).
Flour exports in the 2018/19 season reached 301.4 thou. t vs. 413 thou. t in 2017/18.

Previously reported that the U.A.E. imported 9% more flour over half the current season than within the entire 2018/19. The country holds a 28% share in Ukrainian flour exports.

UAE became the largest importer of Ukrainian flour in the marketing year 2019/2020
In July-December 2019/20 Marketing Year, Ukraine significantly increased the export of wheat flour, which amounted to more than 190 thousand tons in physical terms, which exceeds the first half of the previous season by 56%.

According to the results of six months, the UAE became the main importer of Ukrainian flour, purchasing 52.7 thousand tons, while in July-December 2017/18 Marketing Year 21 thousand tons were shipped in this direction, and for the same period of 2018/19 MY - only 8.3 thousand tons

Shipments of Ukrainian wheat flour to the UAE for the first half of the current season exceed purchases for the entire 2018/19 Marketing Year and 2017/18 MY - 48 thousand tons and 46 thousand tons, respectively.

In general, 85.9 thousand tons of Ukrainian wheat flour were exported to the Middle East in the first half of 2019/20 MY, the share of the UAE in it was 61%, Palestine with a share of 20% (17.2 thousand tons), the third - Israel, 8% (6.9 thousand tons).

Thus, according to the results of the first half of 2019/20 Marketing Year, the share of the UAE in the total export of wheat flour from Ukraine amounted to 28%, while in July-December 2018/19 Marketing Year it was only 7%, and for the same period of 2017/18 Marketing Year - 9% .

The export of Ukrainian flour since the beginning of 2019/20 as of January 14, 2020, amounted to 200.2 thousand tons, which is 54.4% more than a year earlier (129.7 thousand tons).
So, 199.1 thousand tons of wheat flour (+ 54.3%) and 1.1 thousand tons of other types of flour (+ 57%) went to foreign markets from Ukraine. At the same time, grain exports from Ukraine amounted to more than 32.57 million tons, which is 29.55% higher than the same period last year (25.14 million tons).
So, the volume of wheat exports since the beginning of the season increased by 40% and amounted to 15.27 million tons.
Barley supplies increased to 3.8 million tons (+ 19.4%). Export of rye amounted to 5 thousand tons against 81 thousand tons at the same date last year.
For the reporting period, maize sent 13.1 million tons to foreign markets, which is 25% higher than the same period last season.
