Firstly, you can use general names for snowing:
- сніг (snow)
- снігопад (snowfall)
Secondly, you can use many words describing snowstorm:
- снігова буря
- хурделиця
- хуртовина
- завірюха
- заметіль
- віхола
- завія
Thirdly, feel free to use expressions with verbs:
- сніжить (snowing)
- падає сніг (snow is falling)
- замітає снігом (covers with snow)
Hopefully, spring is coming and the weather gets better (погода покращується/поліпшується)
