Wood carving has always been a part of Ukrainian ethnicity. People living on the territory of modern Western Ukraine were especially famous for this craft. This region was known not only for its magnificent picturesque landscapes, warm and welcoming atmosphere, friendly people, but also for its artisans. Incredibly beautiful items carved of wood often had their unique meaning, portraying nature and much more.
The desire to support traditions, to develop them and to tell the world about craftsmen of this wonderful land - these are the reasons behind the Hutsul wood company. Its main direction is creating tools for woodcarving. Having studied and analyzed the market, we came to the conclusion that in Ukraine there are no high-quality tools of a domestic manufacturer. Inspired by history, five years ago we created our company.
Before starting the production, we studied and adopted the traditions of Hutsul people, improving their technology of manufacturing tools. Until recently, our devices could be purchased only in Ukraine. However, we realized that we want the world to learn about our people, too. Therefore, we decided to head for the international market.

Main advantages
All tools for carpentry and woodcarving are hand-made by our professionals. For them, we use only high-quality raw materials, in particular 65G steel - an analog of the American types 1066, 1566, and G15660. It is characterized by high strength and durability. Therefore, each product will last for many years, even considering constant use.
This type of steel is used in the manufacture of sports weapons - for throwing, cleaver, tournament swords, axes, machetes, etc. Among the main features of our raw materials are:
• viscosity;
• strength;
• wear resistance;
• elasticity;
• tear resistance;
• resistance to shock loads.
Knife handles are made of natural ash wood. For long-term usage and convenience, all handles are soaked in flax oil. To secure the base of the knife and its handle, we use a ring made of durable brass.
