What a Year!! Congratulations 🎉 on making it to this point.

For most of the year, it felt like I was operating at the front lines of protecting the innocent and voiceless preborns, as the after effects of the pandemic continued to bite into our advocacy. We had to make tough decisions that saw us re-imagine what we thought possible; just to get here and, here we did!

Despite the challenges we all had to sail through, this has been a landmark year. We have seen several firsts in our advocacy. I was particularly, excited about the Pro Life and Pro Family Life issues training that began in July and ended in early December. an indication of what is possible for protecting God given Life especially the pre born to all people who value humanity in it's natural and dignified way. This increased our confidence in reasoning with articulated facts and speaking out what lies our communities shouldn't fall for.

We also birthed a new umbrella organization LIFAM a further step, as we seek to bridge the gaps within the Pro-Life and Pro-Family advocacy

Thank you for being a valued member of our community! This year our community grew and there is an increase in the number of young people who are ready to defend LIFE.

join me in celebrating all those who registered wins, and at the same time we should not forget those who struggled with loss or went through challenging times.

I am excited for the year ahead. The key themes we shall focus on will soon be communicated by our mentors.

How practical are scientific campaigns for Uganda?

Uganda has 26.7 million telephone subscribers as of December 2019. Of these, 6,614,153 have smart phones.

Another 85,710 subscribers use fixed internet especially in offices. That means specifically there gadgets are for calling and SMS's

Its only about seven million telephone subscribers who can regularly use the internet and can therefore make use of Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and other social media platforms that politicians are able to use for campaigning.

Besides all that social media has its own limitations such as tax

some of the available radios stations are not yet operational.

Don't dream your life; live your dreams.

Never put off or give up on your dreams. You are powerful when you believe in yourself - when you know that you are capable of anything you put your mind to. When you finally decide just to be yourself, you can make your life look any way you want it to look. Go after your dream, no matter how unattainable others think it is.

Once upon a time ….

A very poor man lived with his wife. One day, his wife, who had very long hair asked him to buy her a comb for her hair to grow well and to be well-groomed.

The man felt very sorry and said no. He explained that he did not even have enough money to fix the strap of his watch he had just broken.

She did not insist on her request.

The man went to work and passed by a watch shop, sold his damaged watch at a low price and went to buy a comb for his wife.

He came home in the evening with the comb in his hand ready to give to his wife.

He was surprised when he saw his wife with a very short hair cut. She had sold her hair and was holding a new watch band.

Tears flowed simultaneously from their eyes, not for the futility of their actions, but for the reciprocity of their love.

Moral of the story: To love is nothing, to be loved is something but to love and to be loved by the one you love, that is everything.

Believe in what happens around you,there is always a reason behind it.

This year has been a year of troubles, making new fake and good friends, being unemployed and losing some of our loved ones...... Let all the anger, hate and enemity stop amongst y'all here and atleast use 2020 as an example before starting up something new...

Abraham Lincoln did not quit.

Born into poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He lost eight elections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervous breakdown.

He could have quit many times – but he didn't and because he didn't quit, he became one of the greatest presidents in the United States history.

Here is a sketch of Lincoln's road to the White House:

1816 His family was forced out of their home. He had to work to support them.
1818 His mother died.
1831 Failed in business.
1832 Ran for state legislature – lost.
1832 Also lost his job – wanted to go to law school but couldn't get in.
1833 Borrowed some money from a friend to begin a business and by the end of the year he was bankrupt. He spent the next 17 years of his life paying off this debt.
1834 Ran for state legislature again – won.
1835 Was engaged to be married, sweetheart died and his heart was broken.
1836 Had a total nervous breakdown and was in bed for six months.
1838 Sought to become speaker of the state legislature – defeated.
1840 Sought to become elector – defeated.
1843 Ran for Congress – lost.
1846 Ran for Congress again – this time he won – went to Washington and did a good job.
1848 Ran for re-election to Congress – lost.

We need to normalize conversations about mental health

It is in such times of lockdown that all types of feelings stir up and so many of us are afraid to talk to somebody about how we feel .
Don't wait to seek help.

Don’t Be Afraid

Here we are, afraid of losing what we have all the time, holding on to it so tight that not a soul can touch it. We think by hiding it from the world, it’s hidden and it’s ours. Nothing is. Nothing ever will be. For, nothing ever was.

If you think there is anything that you have, that’s yours, be it money, a house, a job, or a girlfriend… it’s nothing but an illusion. It’ll all disappear… in one blow. One blow, my man.

Here we are, so insecure that we are afraid of re-starting our lives, so we just carry on trying to sort out the current mess. The thought that we should give it all up and just start all over – with nothing – might cross our minds some time, sure, but we get scared and we push away anything that scares us.

There is nothing I can ever achieve or gain that I cannot lose, in a matter of seconds. You have never gained enough to not be able to lose it all, in just a few minutes. What you think is yours, was never yours and will never be yours. Whatever you make here, you leave here. You came naked and you’re going to go back naked.

So what are you afraid of?

Let all be lost. Let them take away everything. As long as you have your heart beating strong, as long as you have your nostrils working fine, as long as the blood flows in your veins, you will live, you will breathe and you can get it all back… again and again. For, if you can do it once, you can damn well do it again. It’s just a game we play – Life.

It is a mistake to think time is going. Time is not going. Time is here until the world ends. It is you that is going. You don’t waste time. Time is infinite. You waste yourself. You are finite. It is you that grows old and die. Time doesn’t. So make better use of yourself before you expire.

And one of the worst things to do with time is comparing yourself to others. A cow eats grass and gets fat but if dog eats grass, it will die. Never compare yourself with others. Run your race. What works for one person may be that which will kill you. Focus on the gifts and talents God gave you and don’t be envious of the blessings He gave others.

That a Lion cannot hunt in the ocean doesn't make him useless and that a Shark cannot hunt in the jungle doesn't also make him useless both have their own territory where they can do well.

》If a rose smells better than tomatoes, It doesn't mean the rose can make a better stew. Don't try to compare yourself to others.

You also have your own strength, look for it and build on it.

All animals that exist, were in Noah's ark. A snail is one of those animals. If God could wait long enough for snails to enter Noah's ark; His door of grace won't close till you reach your expected position in life. Never look down on yourself, keep looking up.

Keep on pushing, you never can tell how close you are to your goal.

A of frogs was traveling through the woods, and two of them fell into a deep pit.

All the other frogs gathered around the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead.

The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump out of the pit with all of their might.

The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead.

Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down and died.

The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die.

He jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the other frogs said, "Did you not hear us?"

The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time.

1. There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day.

2. A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill him or her.

Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path. The power of words.... it is sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of the spirit to continue in difficult times.
Special is the individual who will take the time to encourage another.
