Job Title : FLEET ASSISTANT
Location: IRAQ

REQUIREMENTS
• Fit and in excellent health
• Resilient under pressure, capable of working with senior management
and subordinates in a variety of situations. Must be highly motivated and
be able to work towards targeted deadlines, making maximum use of the
resources available.
• Must hold basic level of mechanical engineering, vehicle repair &
maintenance qualifications.
• A good knowledge of Transport Fleet Management to include a good
understanding of vehicle procurement, equipment husbandry and logistic
resupply.
• Must have previous experience of maintaining a substantial fleet and be
capable of basic diagnosing of mechanical faults.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and an excellent
knowledge of Excel.

ROLES
•He will be responsible for dealing with the day to day
vehicle issues whilst reducing the amount of reoccurring faults. The Fleet Assistant must be able to accurately account for all invoices using an Excel
Spreadsheet.
Additional responsibilities include;
• Receiving fault sheets and creating Job cards.
• Maintaining the regions cost capture spreadsheet.
• Liaison with the garage and projects to keep vehicles mission capable
and assist with quick and all informed fault reporting.
• Monitoring all repairs to confirm all faults have been rectified to a good
standard.
• Hasten mechanics to keep vehicles on the road as efficiently as possible.
• Carry out Vehicle inspections.
• Implementing strict adherence to H&S requirements.
• Be a direct link for the Iraq FM to the projects vehicle records and
documentation.
• Assist with any other work as nominated by the Iraq FM.
