We’re thrilled to be on the ground, traveling across the country, documenting the inspiring stories of the incredible Farmer-Based Organizations (FBOs) participating in the Innovative Finance for Improved Livelihood (IFIL) project. This groundbreaking initiative, led by Act Church of Sweden, We Effect, and OikoCredit, is transforming lives by empowering farmers with access to loans, markets, and opportunities for growth.

We can’t wait to share these stories with you and show how IFIL is paving the way for sustainable livelihoods and a brighter future for all!

We are in Windhoek Namibia, to capture the compelling stories that will culminate from the RUFORUM Triennial Conference, documenting the powerful moments and creating comprehensive visual content that will vividly convey the conference’s essence.

The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Budding in Agriculture (RUFORUM) is a network of 170 universities in 40 countries in Africa. RUFORUM aims to transform African universities through the transformation of the mode of leadership, training, research and outreach.

As part of its governance systems and in line with the need to promote agrifood systems development across the African continent, RUFORUM holds annual meetings/conferences on a rotational basis. This year, RUFORUM will hold its Triennial Conference, under the main theme
“Operationalising Higher Agricultural Education and Research Ecosystems for Innovation, Industrialisation and Economic Development in Africa: A Call for Action”. 

The five-day conference will bring together policymakers including Ministers and Technical Experts, Vice Chancellors and other Higher Education Leaders in Africa, development partners, private sector leaders, researchers, innovators, students, and farmer organisations, among others. Approximately 1000 delegates are expected from across the world. The Conference is expected to have maximum participation from senior Government Leaders of Namibia, including the President, the Prime Minister and the Vice President among other leaders.

On this , we celebrate the incredible dedication and hard work of our health workers. They are the heroes who work tirelessly every day to save lives and keep us safe.
