We can't justify our efforts for the fight against climate crisis if we can't empower farmers who are the backbone of our economies and the food security of this globe.
That's why RECAHI empowers farmers under it's WACS (Albertine work climate smart) project.
RECAHI's WACS project (Albertine work climate smart) has been fundamental in training farmers to protect the soil resource as it is crucial for maintaining ecosystem balance, supporting food production and mitigating climate change. Healthy soils filter water, store carbon and promote biodiversity, while also preventing erosion, landslides and water pollution. This project has sensitized communities through their groups to stop deforestation, monoculture, overgrazing and improper waste disposal that degrade soil health.

"Let's protect our planet! Rejecting EACOP (East African Crude Oil Pipeline) is crucial for Uganda's sustainable future. Say no to environmental degradation, climate change, and human rights violations. Choose renewable energy and a greener tomorrow! "
Human activities are thought to have contributed to an increase in Earth’s average global temperature of about 1 degree Celsius (1.8 degrees Fahrenheit) since the pre-industrial era. This warming is primarily due to the release of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane into the atmosphere, mainly through fossil fuel burning, deforestation, and land-use changes. The consequences of this global warming are far-reaching, from rising sea levels and melting glaciers to more frequent and severe heatwaves, droughts, and storms.

We have enough food full of nutrients, enough space and environment for child play, many schools where children can go and study in Wakiso and the EACOP pipeline corridor but yet these rights are not or least enjoyed by children of single mothers . This is because they are poorly endowed Financially or nobody cares or they have not seen these opportunities. A child who enjoys his full rights , grows up a full child all round. This child will be healthy, will have love for fellows, will have team work, will be creative, will be tomorrow's leader and to mention but a few.
Join RECAHI under its SMC2C(single mothers child second chance) and together we can realize a full child.

"EACOP pipeline threatens to destroy tourism industry & harm local communities! Habitat destruction, pollution, & health risks can't be ignored! Let's prioritize sustainable development & protect our environment & communities! "
The whole world's worry of 21st century is nolonger disputed as climate change. This is because of the attack on the real worldly core that includes but not limited to food security. And the stakeholders question is how do we address climate change impacts by 2030? But this is not a question that requires an answer from one stakeholder and that's why RECAHI under its WACS is joining this discussion with its side of the answer rooted in empowering farmers through their respective formed groups to boost their productivity through lessened climate vulnerability. Thanks to the skill and knowledge gained in sustainable agricultural practices, financial literacy and entrepreneur skills and Kyosaba exemplifies this best as noted from the smile filling her entire face because of the hope she has in her healthy looking maize.
Let's continue supporting RECAHI's lessons and empowering more farmers like kyosaba against climate change.
