A CUU alumnus has just launched an incredible book titled "Unlock the Mind!" The book launch was attended by esteemed guests, including Makerere University Chancellor Dr. Ezra Suruma, who praised Dr. Bolingo for his outstanding achievement. Former Ethics Minister Hon. James Nsaba Buturo also graced the occasion as the chief guest.

The Cavendish Law Society hosted their Annual Law Dinner on April 27th, 2024 at Kampala Skyz Protea Hotel.
The Chief Guest was Her Worship Juliet Harty Hatanga, the Deputy Registrar of the International Crimes Division at the High Court of Uganda.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor, faculty, and other distinguished guests were also in attendance.
The evening was a celebration of achievements in legal education and networking among legal professionals.

We are pleased to congratulate Dr Olive Sabiiti on her new role as the acting Vice Chancellor, Cavendish University, following Prof. John Mugisha's departure.

Dr Olive Sabiiti has been serving as the University’s Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs and will assume the role of Vice Chancellor, in acting capacity, until a substantive role holder is announced.

Dr. Sabiiti, a close collaborator of Prof. Mugisha, is poised to build upon the strong foundation laid by her predecessor and continue the university’s trajectory of excellence. We wish her the best in her new role and look forward to witnessing the continued growth and success of CUU.

We wish to announce that our Vice Chancellor, Prof. John F. Mugisha will, effective July 2024, leave his position as the University's Vice Chancellor, following a successful end of his 2nd term of office.

Prof. Mugisha leaves after a period of 8 years, during which he has led the university with great distinction and guided it towards a position of stability, growth and continuing success.

We're thrilled to announce that our Chairman, the University Council, Prof. Olubayi Olubayi, has been selected to deliver the keynote address at the Annual Goodluck Jonathan Foundation Dialogue on Democracy on June 13th in Benin City, Nigeria!

This year's dialogue will explore "Functional Education and Effective Political Leadership as a Panacea to Africa's Growth & Development." We're excited for the upcoming discussions and trust that our Chairman will do the theme justice. Stay tuned for updates.
