We want to start by saying how grateful we are for your love and support of Light Children's Ministry over the years. As we continue to grow and serve the children in our community, we have made the decision to change our name to Maisha Children's Ministry through Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB)
We are now fully registered Nonprofit organization ( NGO) in Uganda.

Currently we do have a business ID for Maisha Children's Ministry postal address

The name change is a result of our desire to better reflect our mission and values, as well as to align with our growing vision for the future. "Maisha" is a Swahili word that means "life," and we believe that this new name captures the essence of our ministry's purpose: to bring life, hope, and joy to the children we serve.

We are still the same organization, with the same heart, passion, and dedication to serving the most vulnerable among us. We are simply embracing a new name that better represents who we are and what we do.

We got a chance to capture Mama Christine while preparing tea.

Listen up, what is needed when preparing African tea in Uganda villages.

While having a chat with her, her main concern was on sugar. The sugar price is so costly for her to prepare tea for her babies daily. Therefore as a family they get a chance once in a month to take tea. We had a chance to take her tea and Blessed her with some few little funds to go get her family sugar that will sustain her for a month.

Sandra's journey has been fraught with hardships and unimaginable challenges. She' has endured poverty, homeless, and the weight of uncertainty far beyond her tender years together with her mom. Yet through it all, she possess an unyielding spirit and a flicker of hope in her eyes.

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting lightchildrensministry.org . With your help Janet is at school. She's in day school, she wakes up at 6:00 am to prepare breakfast and food for her grandfather. She makes sure she does all the domestic work before leaving for school.

Janet lives with her grandfather in Lwakhakha Border Uganda. For family like this. Will be given full support through Light Children's Ministry .
Food is expensive and they're struggling financially. They can't afford to buy firewood for heating.

Light Children's Ministry has come up to support this family through basic needs like food, medication, education and clothing .

We belive they must be protected from violence.
We call upon more donors, volunteers to come support us.

Light Children's Ministry is a non-governmental organization helping the vulnerable children in Uganda. It was founded in 2022 and is based in East Africa (Uganda lwakhakha) ..The foundation's mission is to look out for the orphan children who are misplaced, abandoned and abused through providing shelter, food, education and clothing.
