Kibiro salt gardens for tourism
Kibiro is a small fishing village with a sandy beach along lake Albert at the base of the western rift valley in western uganda.

Kibiro is well known for its hot springs and traditional salt mining traced from the time of the chwezi dynasty when salt was used as the medium of exchange especially during the reign of Omukama Kabalega og greater Kitara.

Salt in this area is mined locally based on leaching of saline which results into brine heated to evaporation and the residue is salt.

Cultural tourism
These are Semwema caves, found in western uganda Kakumiro District. The caves area cultural, historical and archaeological site on top of Bikakata hill. The sight features the biggest cave formerly used as parliament of the mighty Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom during the Bachwezi dynasty especially by Omukama (King) Kabalega and his administration.

On these caves, there's a famous tree traditionally believed to give blessings especially to the barren women looking for children and men.

It's surounded by munsa trenches of famous kings such as the Kateboha trenches which were used as escape routes from enemies.

Through the caves to the top of the mountain which has Various features such as 9 eyes of different hills related to Semwema, natural board games formerly used by the kings and there subjects during leisure time a feel of the stretch as you descend down the hill. It's an experience to remember .

Equator Uganda
The equator is an imaginary line that divides the earth into two halves ie the Northern hemisphere and the Southern hemisphere. The equator in Uganda is one of the well known landmarks.
In uganda, it crosses kayabwe, Mpigi District as you head to western part of the country, it also crosses near Queen Elizabeth National park and lwaji island in Lake Victoria.

The time for the sun go set and rise at the equator is the fastest on earth compared to other locations that are not crossed by the equator.
The equator also experiences the equinox twice a year or March and September. That's when the sun is overhead the equator.
