It was a very simple design for an AMAZING friend of mine. While I didn't coordinate every aspect, just the design and decor, I did help her hubby with a few small details.

Derrick Stewart is not just my because of all the support he provides be for and during events...but ESPECIALLY because he is VERY patient when I'm sorting and repacking and putting away my bins following events. He understands that Event Planning / Decorating is a side hustle that takes a LOT of time (especially prior to and following events) and he also understands that school, ministry and work take precedence. Was blessed to be able to use my love for event decorating on the "J-O-B" today. These decorations are very simple, but, I'm still pleased with how it turned out according to the "Americana" theme request.

"Runners" are finished.

When your government boss knows she can count on you to bring in your sude hustle to make a party look good...you bring your "A" game. Yes, I've got bins in the hotel and will be cutting runners, gluing florals and making bows. Some think I'm extra...but truly....I'm ultra!

During last weekend's event...hubby said he was Touch of Aloha's "Elite Employee"...so of course I had to get him a shirt! LOL BIG Mahalo to .barnesss for making this happen and your quick TAT!

My most recent bride could not decide whether she wanted to use chargers, and, I needed to know which napkin placement she preferred. Since I am located in Maryland and her wedding was in Connecticut, I had to be sure that I knew exactly what we were doing, and, I didn't have any room to bring "extras" with me. Did you know that you can rent chargers from us for just $1 each...AND...did you know that chargers are included in any design/decorating contract?

UNIQUE REQUEST! A MOB asked to help with the florals, this meant guiding and teaching her how to do it. Since she is my Spiritual Daughter, and the Bride is my play-niece, I said "yes!". BUT the best part of this experience is seeing her pride and joy with her finished product! Touch of Aloha isn't just a business, a side hustle, but it is about leaving a touch of Aloha on the lives that He strategically unites with mine!

Had a tea fat my house this weekend...question...do you normally use "real" dishes when entertaining? I LOVE pulling out the crystal for all of my special guests...of course, I think they're all special!!!
