Thanks to All Who Made It a “Great Time Every Time” at the 2024 Brown County Fair. A number of essential ingredients go into making the Fair Week successful and I wanted to take time to give credit where credit is absolutely due.
No one gives more time and sweat to making the BCF great than the Fair Board. Their tasks can be grueling, time consuming, tedious, and often thankless, but they manage to smile and give the fairgoers a memorable week. Thanks to this amazing Fair Board for their selfless efforts.
It is only with generous sponsorships that the Brown County Fair continues to offer such high caliber entertainment and attractions. Sponsors for the tents, stages, concerts, rodeo, livestock, barns, arenas, signage, days, activities, competitive exhibits, designated areas, and more. The Brown County Fair couldn’t continue to offer free admission and free parking without the support of its sponsors. Thank you to those who give financially to the BCF.
While some donations are financial, others give their time and efforts. Volunteers, such as ticket scanners, drivers of the courtesy carts, people movers, and kiddie train, building monitors, judges, gate attendants, and so many more, are absolutely critical to the continued success of the BCF. Paying to staff these areas, means less money spent on entertainment. So, thank you to those volunteers who generously give of their time.
Thanks to the Fair, Fairground, and 4-H staff for hosting a tremendous week, as well as the numerous other county departments for keeping the fairgrounds safe and serviced. My deepest gratitude goes to the Brown County Highway Department. No one prepares for 3” of August rain and I’m certain there would have been fewer concerts and more stuck campers if not for their quick action. Thank you to our county friends for their onsite dedication to making it a great week.
From the rodeo and $2 Tuesday to the Lumberjack Show, fairgoers arrived early and remained weeklong. Realizing that ticket, camping, and vendor fees subsidize much of the week’s free entertainment, many of you purchase tickets and spend money on the fairgrounds to show your support of the fair. Thanks to all the fair fans, vendors, and campers who made time to attend. It was a Great Time, Every Time because of you and we'll look forward to getting together again in 2025!
WE sure had a great time at the BCF this year, and now we need your help! PLEASE take 3 minutes to fill out this quick survey to help us make next year even better! Entries go in for a chance to win your choice of a Mega Pass OR a 3 day Concert Pass for 2025! Thanks in advance for all your help!
